Honkai: Star Rail finally comes to PlayStation on October 11

HoYoverse revealed its trailer for Version 1.4 of Honkai: Star Rail, titled “Jolted Awake from a Winter Dream.” Here’s a summary of all the new features coming to Trailblazers on October 11!

In addition to outlining all the content coming to Honkai: Star Rail on October 11th with Version 1.4, miHoYo also revealed new details on the PS5 version. Releasing on the same day, the free-to-play RPG will run in native 4K and utilize the console’s SSD for faster loading speeds. Check out the Developer Interview video below.

miHoYo Games’ next major update for Honkai: Star Rail, Version 1.4, “Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream”, launches on October 11th. It coincides with the release of the PS5 version and includes several new characters, such as the eagerly-awaited Jingliu, Topaz and Numby, and Guinaifen, while Seele makes a return. Several new details about 1.4 have been revealed, including its release date, the PlayStation 5 launch, the character banners planned for the version’s six weeks of content, story missions, events, and much more. As a live-service game, the turn-based RPG by HoYoverse regularly receives updates, which grants players more to explore and do. Much of the information was revealed during a special program, which also featured the limited 1.4 livestream codes. In terms of story, the game will pick up after the events presented in Version 1.3, which showcased the aftermath of the Trailblazers efforts to control the Stellaron crisis.

Developer HoYoverse has revealed the 1.4 livestream codes as the special program has gone live. Approximately every six weeks, a special livestream is held, showing the respective content arriving in the turn-based RPG in the upcoming patch. Although it does fully reveal the contents of the main campaign or the developments that will take place during the limited-time events, it does tease them, highlighting what players will be doing for the next six weeks. During this presentation, the developer also shares a few promo codes, which can be redeemed for in-game rewards.

The version 1.4 update for Honkai: Star Rail, dubbed “Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream,” will launch on October 11 alongside the release of the PlayStation 5 version, developer miHoYo announced.

Until now, the only 4-Star Healer in Honkai: Star Rail was Natasha. While Natasha is still a great option, Lynx can finally step in for all of your Quantum-lacking teams. But Lynx goes a step further by applying certain effects to her allies during her Skill. She can do more than heal. She can also temporarily increase a character’s Max HP.

Fu Xuan is a Quantum Support character who specializes in damage splitting and healing. Introduced during the first portion of the Xianzhou Luofu Trailblaze Mission, Fu Xuan recently became playable with Version 1.3 of Honkai: Star Rail.

miHoYo Games’ Honkai: Star Rail is coming to PS5 next month, and the hype is palpable, at least based on the number of pre-registrations. Approximately 1,025,473 players have pre-registered to date, according to the official site.

Lynx is now the first Quantum healer in Honkai: Star Rail. Making her debut alongside Fu Xuan, Lynx makes it possible to have a Mono-Quantum team as long as you have Silver Wolf. For the most part, she specializes in healing and boosting your party’s Max HP. However, like Natasha, her Ultimate provides a debuff cleanse.

miHoYo Games’ Honkai: Star Rail is getting a new Special Program for its next update. Version 1.4, “Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream”, will air on September 29th at 4:30 AM PDT and discuss all the new content coming to the free-to-play turn-based RPG.
