The enormous success of Helldivers 2 continues, with the game officially outperforming both Fortnite and Call of Duty on PSN in the USA. Compared to the original game, Helldivers 2 is proving to be a breakout hit, with player counts rising daily.
Helldivers 2's ongoing success is somewhat of a surprise. The original title was nowhere near as popular, but, like Palworld last month, Helldivers 2 is seizing its moment in the spotlight, and every day, it seems as though more and more gamers are jumping onto the bandwagon to see what all the fuss is about. Just yesterday, Helldivers 2 passed Destiny 2's all-time Steam concurrent player count. Considering the size of Arrowhead Game Studios when compared to a developer like Bungie, it's an impressive feat, and those numbers only look set to grow over the next few days as the hype train rolls madly on.
It was confirmed today that Helldivers 2 had passed two titans in Fortnite and Call of Duty to become the current top game on PSN in the USA. As more and more Helldivers 2 reviews come in, it becomes clear how strong of a title Arrowhead Game Studios has on its hands at the moment, but only time will tell if it can sustain this kind of momentum for a lengthy period of time.
While these records are obviously impressive, there's one thing holding the game back from even more success. Right now, many players are struggling to play Helldivers 2 thanks to a 450,000-player cap across both PC and PS5, necessitated due to server capacity. It's understandable, considering not even the developer expected the game to be such a hit. However, it does mean that until this is resolved, the maximum number of Helldivers 2 players has a hard cap. There's good news, though — the Helldivers 2 studio is already hiring to ease the workload following the game's success, and hopefully, it isn't too long before the server problems subside.
Although it's early days, the possible future of Helldivers 2 is extremely exciting. No one knows what the developer has planned for the game, and the goalposts may be shifted with any previous plans due to its massive success. Once the server issues are sorted, hopefully, the focus can shift to creating more amazing content for the game instead. Just recently, Phil Spencer addressed the lack of Helldivers 2 on Xbox, so it is abundantly clear that the game is making waves.
Helldivers 2 is a third-person cooperative shooter developed by Arrowhead Games Studios for the PC and PlayStation 5 where players take control of a Helldiver set to protect the citizens of Super Earth by traveling to hostile alien worlds and destroying threats. Players undergo missions, defeat enemies, and use special items called Stratagems to help turn the tide of battle in this

Epic's plans to launch a version of its Epic Games Store on iOS in the EU have stalled after Apple terminated its developer account, calling the company «verifiably untrustworthy» — and the much-trumpeted return of Fortnite to iOS has been impacted too.
A GTA fan is calling forGrand Theft Auto 6 to add a car feature that would allow players to put people in the back trunk of vehicles. The idea resonated with fellow players, starting a discussion surrounding the Grand Theft Auto 6 wishlist of features they hope to see in Rockstar Games' next installment.
Gamers are being inspired by the Willy Wonka fiasco that recently happened in Scotland, recreating the barren and meme-worthy experience in their favorite titles. Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Far Cry 5 have both gotten humorous renditions of the disastrous event, which drew in customers with its misleading AI-generated advertisements. The forlorn recreation of Roald Dahl’s magical world turned out to be a threadbare experience with a lone Oompa-Loompa rationing out jellybeans to children and The Unknown (a nonexistent character made up by AI) then jumping out to scare them silly.
