Helldivers 2 Director Johan Pilestedt wants gamers to decide when the next paid Warbond will arrive. Helldivers 2 has been the source of heated discussion in recent weeks, as it is at the center of Sony's controversial decision to have PC players link their accounts to the PlayStation Network. Pilestedt offers two options, either releasing the Warbond on May 9, 2024, or delaying the release for some time.
In response to Pilestedt's question, many gamers have opted for the decision to release. Six hours ahead of the poll's closing, 73.9% of the 136,622 votes cast voted in favor of the May 9 release. Some fans have voiced that their request for a sooner Warbond release comes with the request to make sure the new Helldivers 2 weapon balancing is not too intense.
