GTA 6 Trailer Is Coming Early December, Rockstar Games Confirms

With the amount of hype surrounding Rockstar Games titles, particularly, now is the perfect time for the company to present its own showcase. Other major companies started having their own showcases, such as PlayStation's State of Plays, Nintendo's Nintendo Directs, and the Xbox & Bethesda joint showcases of recent years, the latter of which was used to provide an in-depth look at in June 2023.

The actor who played Grand Theft Auto 5 co-protagonist Michael De Santa was swatted while streaming GTA Online, but has defended developer Rockstar Games despite fan outcry to the contrary.

Rockstar Games has been one of the world's most popular gaming companies in the last few decades. A major part of its success is particularly attributed to Grand Theft Auto or GTA, its open-world action-adventure video game. There have been many entries into the series to date, and fans are patiently waiting for the release of the next GTA game which is ubiquitously known as GTA 6. However, apart from the confirmation of the GTA 6 trailer release date, there has been no information so far, with Rockstar Games keeping tight-lipped about the game. And it seems like it doesn't want its employees (or even former workers) to talk about other GTA 6 as well. 

Rockstar has removed the Social Club branding from its website, presumably in anticipation of GTA 6. As per the news account @videotechuk_ on Twitter, the publisher has replaced the nomenclature with simply ‘Rockstar Games' and scrapped any references to ‘Social Club members.' The online gaming service is also missing the old logo now, though players can still engage in multiplayer elements and accrue member-exclusive rewards from games like Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. For now, it's unclear whether Rockstar would launch a new platform or simply update the existing application to usher in the new era, but traces of the branding still remain in-game.

Rockstar Games, makers of the incredibly popular Grand Theft Auto series, finally announced earlier this month that they would officially reveal GTA 6 in December. In a series of posts from Rockstar's X account, studio co-founder Sam Houser confirmed that the much-awaited trailer for GTA 6 would arrive in December. A new leak, however, has unearthed evidence about scrapped story DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5. First released in 2013, GTA 5 still features on best-selling charts every month a decade into its run, thanks to GTA Online's thriving success and massive player base. Despite demand from fans, the main game never received a story expansion, with Rockstar instead opting to provide regular updates to the money-spinning online mode. The leak also reveals a canned sequel to 2006's Bully, a cult favourite title from Rockstar that never received a follow-up.

The next Subnautica game is launching in the first half of 2025. Like the first two games, it will be developed by Unknown Worlds and is coming to both PC and console.

The latest in a seemingly endless string of leaks concerning seems to suggest that the anticipated and long-awaited sequel to will have some major weapon changes that source inspiration from previous Rockstar Games projects — specifically and. Though developer Rockstar Games has remained tight-lipped on the vast majority of leaks, refusing to comment on anything other than to confirm the game is in development, these latest rumors, leaked in late 2023, appear to indicate that the franchise's long-implemented weapons system and gunplay are in for a monumental overhaul. While some are unquestionably for the better, others are potentially troubling.
