Grimdark medieval tactical RPG BEAST announced for PC

Studio Lights, a Shinjuku-based studio that worked on the environment lighting and cutscene lighting for both Final Fantasy XVI and Forspoken, has announced “isekai action RPG” Mononoke no Kuni. It will launch for PC via Steam in spring 2024, with plans to also release on PlayStation, Switch, iOS, and Android. A specific PlayStation platform was not announced.

Scars of Mars is a futuristic sci-fi tactical RPG with positional combat, drawing from the likes of Mega Man Battle Network, Fire Emblem, and Triangle Strategy. Coming from Acquire Corp, the publisher and co-developer of the beloved Octopath Traveler games, in Scars of Mars you’ll take charge of a team of humanoid robots and delve through choice-driven dungeons in the style of roguelikes such as Slay the Spire and FTL.

Entergram has announced goHELLgo: Tsukiotoshiteko, a “rapid descent RPG” for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC. It will launch in 2024 in Japan.
