The second expansion for Final Fantasy 16, titled The Rising Tide, now has an official launch date. It arrives on the 18th April, and costs $19.99 if you're buying it by itself. The Expansion Pass, priced at $24.99, gets you this second DLC and the previously released Echoes of the Fallen.
Final Fantasy XVI downloadable content “The Rising Tide” will launch on April 18 for $19.99 / 2,420 yen alongside the free version 1.30 update, Square Enix announced. It is also available via the Final Fantasy XVI Expansion Pass, which includes both “The Rising Tide” and the previously released “Echoes of the Fallen” for $24.99 / 3,080 yen.

SNK’s library of fighting franchises tend bleed into each other a bit, but back in the day, the company was best-known for the Fatal Fury series. Eventually, the King of Fighters series, which included characters from multiple SNK games, largely supplanted Fatal Fury, but now we’re getting a Furious return. While they teased it previously, today SNK officially announced Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which will combine classic gameplay with the new “REV” system. Much like Street Fighter 6, the new Fatal Fury will also introduce a more casual “Smart Style” mode that will allow you to easily pull off special moves. Street Fighter 6 downloadable content character Akuma will launch this spring, Capcom announced. Akuma will be unlocked for owners of the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Year 1 Character Pass.
Yuffie Kisaragi is the fiery engine behind the main cast in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Whether it’s sprinting off alone to search for her beloved materia or attempting high-profile assassination in front of the entire world, she simply cannot be deterred. The warrior from Wutai previously appeared as an optional character in the original version of the game. Now, she’s included as part of the main story from pretty early on, and her addition is one of my favorite ways that Rebirth alters the story from the original game.
Publisher Cygames and developer Cygames Osaka have shared new information and footage for the Granblue Fantasy: Relink version 1.1.0 update due out on March 14, as well as announced that Sandalphon will join the roster of playable characters as part of the version 1.3.0 update in May, and shared first footage of April-due playable characters Seofon and Tweyen.
Ahead of the release of Dragon's Dogma 2 later this month, Capcom has made the character creator available to download.
