Genshin Impact Reveals Xianyun's Signature Weapon

A Genshin Impact chart shows the first-week revenue of the current limited banner that features the new five-star character Xianyun and the Dendro Archon Nahida. Both of these characters are part of the first banner phase of the ongoing version 4.4, which also features a new four-star unit named Gaming.

A new Genshin Impact leak has given more details about Chiori's potential appearance on the Standard Banner. The game runs on a gacha-based system which allows players to try their luck and pull for different characters that can have either a five-star or four-star rarity.

The several 4.5 leaks are pointing toward what is likely going be a very bleak update in terms of playable content, despite multiple rumors about what may be added. At the moment, the action RPG is in the middle of Version 4.4, a big and important patch for the game. The update brought forth the annual Lantern Rite Festival, telling a unique storyline set in Liyue. This is usually the most important event in the title every year. Lantern Rite, however, was not the only significant thing that came with the release of 4.4.

A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed the number of Primogems and wishes players will be able to get for free during the upcoming version 4.5. Primogems are considered the most important item in the game, as they allow players to acquire new characters and weapons from the gacha banners.

According to new 4.5 leaks, it seems like Chiori may be just as bad a playable character as Dehya was when she first arrived in Version 3.5. Chiori is a Geo character that has been introduced as an NPC with the Roses and Muskets event in Version 4.3. Chiori’s release in as a playable unit, however, has already been confirmed for Version 4.5, and there are several leaks about how her gameplay kit will function. Rumors point to her being a Geo sub-DPS unit with some supporting capabilities.

Recent leaks surrounding Genshin Impact version 4.5 have revealed several side activities, including cat petting, which players will try out next month. As usual, Genshin Impact players will be introduced to a brand-new unit in a major update. This time they will meet the five-star Geo user Chiori, who is rumored to be a dual-wielding character. HoYoverse hasn't revealed her skills as yet, but some credible leakers provided information about the character's kit, revealing that she delivers a degree of AoE Geo damage.

Many Genshin Impact players think Setekh Wenut doesn't belong to the Spiral Abyss, calling the developers to remove or adjust it as soon as possible. Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss hosts some of the hardest enemies in the game, including Setekh Wenut that lives underneath the Desert of Hadramaveth. Having been introduced as a world boss in version 3.4, the Sumeru-based serpent has joined the Spiral Abyss lineup in 3.5 with extra resistance.

Chinese developer Kuro Game has released new information about its upcoming game, Wuthering Waves, confirming the game's second beta test and PlayStation versions. Kuro Game first announced the game in 2022 as a new action RPG with many fans drawing comparisons to Genshin Impact with its fast-paced and fluid combat. Early trailers saw Wuthering Waves showcase similar gameplay to «hack-and-slash» games, putting an emphasis on difficulty and timing with the players' inputs. Now, excited fans are set to learn more about the game with its second closed beta test.

With Version 4.4 set for release on January 31, 2024, Genshin Impact has revealed the character teaser for the upcoming 5-Star Anemo Catalyst Xianyun. Though Version 4.4 is set to bring a new Lantern Rite event, Chenyu Vale, three alternate skins, and two playable characters to Genshin Impact, its community hasn't exactly been happy with the annual rewards provided by the game, especially when compared to the generosity shown by the team working on Honkai: Star Rail.

Farming the materials for Xianyun’s Ascension in is the first step to unlocking the character’s full potential as a support unit. Xianyun is a 5-star hero who debuts in Version 4.4. She is the human form of the Adepti known as Cloud Retainer. Xianyun has an Anemo Vision and uses a catalyst in battle, allowing her to trigger Swirl Elemental Reactions with her Normal Attacks. This is, however, not the focus of Xianyun’s kit in , as she is instead specialized in buffing and healing her teammates, while also granting them an increase to their jump height.

Genshin Impact has been review bombed and its official Douyin (TikTok) account has lost nearly 1m followers after the recent version 4.4 livestream announced that three only dollops of Intertwined Fate material will be gifted to players during the game's Lantern Rite event.

miHoYo has announced the next update for Genshin Impact – Version 4.4, “Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze.” It goes live on January 31st and features the return of the Lantern Rite in Liyue, with a new area, Chenyu Vale, becoming available. Check out the trailer below.
