Genshin Impact Reveals 5-Star Character Waiting List for 4.4

Genshin Impact is expected to start its official drip marketing for Chiori on December 29, 2024, though a reliable leak has shared an early preview of what players can hope to see from her ability kit. Though Version 4.3 was considered a dry patch, its Flagship Event introduced Genshin Impact fans to Chiori, a former acquaintance of Kamisato Ayato, and the owner of Chioriya Boutique in the Court of Fontaine. It didn't take long for her to become a fan-favorite, and while Version 4.4 will instead focus on the Lantern Rite, Chiori is expected to make her playable debut in Version 4.5.

In a trailer dedicated to Xianyun, Genshin Impact has given players their first look at the upcoming five-star unit and teased her relationship with Ganyu. Chinese developer Kuro Game has released new information about its upcoming game, Wuthering Waves, confirming the game's second beta test and PlayStation versions. Kuro Game first announced the game in 2022 as a new action RPG with many fans drawing comparisons to Genshin Impact with its fast-paced and fluid combat. Early trailers saw Wuthering Waves showcase similar gameplay to «hack-and-slash» games, putting an emphasis on difficulty and timing with the players' inputs. Now, excited fans are set to learn more about the game with its second closed beta test.

This is, however, not the focus of Xianyun’s kit in , as she is instead specialized in buffing and healing her teammates, while also granting them an increase to their jump height.

Though it doesn’t fit her color palette, Thundering Pulse is Yoimiya’s signature weapon in Genshin Impact. Overall, this Bow is great for any DPS character due to its CRIT DMG stat. Primarily, it increases the wielder’s ATK and Normal Attack DMG, so Bow characters who rely on infused Normal Attacks will do best with this.

Genshin Impact has been review bombed and its official Douyin (TikTok) account has lost nearly 1m followers after the recent version 4.4 livestream announced that three only dollops of Intertwined Fate material will be gifted to players during the game's Lantern Rite event.
