Genshin Impact has revealed a story teaser for Chiori ahead of Version 4.5, offering players a glimpse into the new character's no-nonsense personality. Originally from Inazuma, Chiori left for Fontaine to establish herself as a fashion designer and clothier. To navigate the cutthroat fashion industry in the Court of Fontaine, Chiori made ample use of her swordsmanship and blunt personality, and won the hearts of the Genshin Impact community during the Fontinalia Film Festival event in Version 4.3.
Her chemistry with Genshin Impact characters such as Ayato and Chevreuse made her a fan-favorite, though Chiori herself has been teased since Version 3.7. Given her nature as a fashion designer, she has been canonically responsible for making the outfits of many playable characters, including Kirara, Lyney, Lynette, and even Navia. As befits her vocation, players wearing alternate outfits or glider skins will have increased movement speed with Chiori on the team.
In order to prepare players for Chiori's debut on the Event Banners for Genshin Impact Version 4.5, HoYoverse released a story teaser featuring the character. While they can sometimes be used to advance the plot or tease upcoming content (as was the case with Furina), more often than not, they are a window into what makes each character tick, and Chiori's personality is perfectly encapsulated in the teaser with a simple theme: the customer isn't always right.
As seen in the video, Chiori pursues her own form of justice by leaving for Fontaine. Whereas she was scolded in Inazuma by her mentor for not attending to a more privileged customer ahead of schedule, the Chioriya Boutique functions strictly on a «first come, first served» policy. Despite hailing from Inazuma, Chiori in Genshin Impact represents another facet of Fontaine's society, as well as its central theme of justice.
From a gameplay perspective, Chiori is a 5-Star Geo character in Genshin Impact who uses Swords as her weapon of choice. She is the second Geo Sword user after Albedo, and the third character to dual wield in combat – after Tartaglia and Alhaitham. Though she is expected to be a desirable teammate for Navia, Chiori works well with any Geo team that utilizes constructs such as an Itto, Gorou, and Zhongli core. Her primary role is to be a powerful damage support that scales with both DEF and ATK, but she can become an on-field character at higher constellations. Genshin Impact players can wish for Chiori starting from March 13, 2024, and will also be able to pull for Itto on the same banner.

Genshin Impact has officially revealed the second half Event Banners for Version 4.5, and to no one's surprise, Kaveh is once again missing from among the list of 4-Stars. Though Version 4.5 of Genshin Impact could be described as a quiet patch, with no new zones or artifact domains, its Flagship Event «Alchemical Ascension» has been incredibly popular among fans. Not only did it give players a chance to stock up on Primogems for a few extra pulls on Itto and Chiori's banners, but it also introduced a fun mini-game that many fans are hopeful becomes a permanent fixture of Genshin Impact in the future.
A new character in 4.6 leaks are hinting at what may have major story implications, though the details are still very scarce. Although the game is currently in Version 4.5, there have been many leaks and rumors about 4.6. Most are centered around the new and highly-anticipated playable character known as Arlecchino, while a few others detail the addition of a new area, as well as a new world boss and even the planned events and quality-of-life updates. Now, however, a new Version 4.6 leak has arisen, detailing story elements.
Genshin Impact is expected to release Version 4.6 on April 24, 2024, and players can now have an estimated Primogem count for the new update. While Genshin Impact has been praised for its addictive open world exploration and engaging elemental combat, it is a gacha game at heart, and as such, players are expected to spend Primogems to obtain powerful characters for their team. Whereas Version 4.5 had a Primogem drought that could easily rival Version 3.2, the upcoming patch is set to have a much higher count by comparison.
Genshin Impact Version 4.5 is Geo-heavy. Chiori makes her debut with Arataki Itto’s third rerun. Unlike Itto, Chiori is a Sub-DPS who focuses on dealing off-field Geo damage. She creates a Geo Construct with her Elemental Skill, which can resonate with other Geo Constructs to deal more damage.
Chiori is the newest 5-Star Geo Sword character in Genshin Impact. She can create Geo Constructs that deal off-field Geo DMG to enemies. This is especially useful when multiple enemies are spread out.
Chiori was introduced during the Genshin Impact Version 4.5 update. Originally from Inazuma, she brought her unique eye for fashion to Fontaine. Now, she joins the Traveler and Albedo as a 5-Star Geo Sword character who can create Geo Constructs.
A comprehensive Genshin Impact chart shows the most used characters for version 4.5 of the Spiral Abyss. The enemy lineup for Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss has been updated to include some new elite mobs and overworld bosses, such as Shadowy Husk and Jadeplume Terrorshrome. Blessing of the Abyssal Moon, which provides players with a range of buffs, has also added several blessings in version 4.5.
A new chart for Genshin Impact details the ownership rates for the game's five-star characters, showing how many players have picked up the game's most powerful characters. Since the debut of the massively popular RPG in late 2020, HoYoverse has added a wide variety of new characters to the open-world action game. Each update to the game has typically added at least one roster member to the game, with the recent Version 4.5 update introducing Chiori as Genshin Impact's newest five-star unit. Now, a recent chart shares more information about the game's rarest characters.
Using Chiori’s best build in can significantly improve her performance as a Geo sub-DPS and support on the field, which in turn results in extra damage output and less trouble from opponents. The 5-star unit is one of the new pieces of content added with Version 4.5 in mid-March. The character had previously been introduced as an NPC in Version 4.3’s flagship event but is now fully playable. Chiori’s main usage as a new character in 4.5 is dealing Geo DMG while off-field, supporting her main Geo DPS unit for increased elemental resonance.
Genshin Impact is giving Cyno his second Story Quest in Version 4.6, but it may also be introducing a future playable character as well. Over the course of its history, Genshin Impact has proven to be no stranger when it comes to teasing upcoming characters through in-game content. Xianyun's human form was teased in the Lantern Rite a year before her official debut, and Charlotte made her first appearance in Version 3.7 despite joining the roster in Version 4.2.
With beta testing for Version 4.6 in full swing, a reliable source in the Genshin Impact community has revealed which characters will have Story Quests in the new update. Story Quests have been a steady way for Genshin Impact to tell individual stories concerning a character, reveal important lore about the world of Teyvat, or even introduce a new weekly boss. Version 4.6 is set to be one of the biggest content updates in Genshin Impact's history, as it will also launch with multiple Story Quests on top of the new zone and Flagship Event.
Genshin Impact players can now have their first glimpse into the new zone of Remuria, located below the surface of Teyvat on a separate world map. While Version 4.5 is considered by many to be a quieter patch, Version 4.6 of Genshin Impact appears to be packed with new content. The update will mark the arrival of Arlecchino as a playable character, and will introduce two new artifact sets, a new world boss, and a new Trounce Domain near Mont Esus. More importantly, it will feature the third subterranean zone after Enkanomiya and the Chasm, which have traditionally been fan favorites.
