A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more details about a new set of Arlecchino buffs in the game's beta stage. Arlecchino has been one of the most anticipated characters since her official introduction in the famous «A Winter Night's Lazzo» trailer, which also revealed the appearances of all the remaining Fatui Harbingers.
Arlecchino has also been portrayed as the main antagonist of Genshin Impact's ongoing Fontaine Archon Quest. The game's official social media accounts revealed her splash art a couple of weeks ago, which confirmed that she will be released in the upcoming Version 4.6.
Every Genshin Impact update has a beta phase which includes most of the upcoming content, including new characters, weapons, enemies, and regions. A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed that Arlecchino has received a set of changes in the most recent beta version 4.5.53. According to the post, Arlecchino's Normal Attack damage numbers have received a significant buff. This buff is particularly crucial for Arlecchino since she's a DPS character and heavily reliant on Normal Attacks. As a new polearm user in Genshin Impact, Arlecchino can perform up to 6 different attacks during her Normal Attack sequence. To compensate for these buffs, HoYoverse has reduced the damage scaling of her Charged Attack from 256.4% to 179.5%. The post also revealed that other parts of her kit, including her Elemental Skill, Passive Talent 1, and Bond of Life effect, have also received buffs.
Arlecchino has one of the most special kits in Genshin Impact, which could take some time to get used to, especially for new players. When her Bond of Life points are equal to or greater than 20% of her max HP, Arlecchino will enter a state called «Masque of the Red Death» which infuses her Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks to Pyro damage that cannot be overridden.
During this state, her Normal Attacks will deal additional damage to enemies, scaling with her ATK stat and her current Bond of Life. Arlecchino's Elemental Skill, All is Ash, makes her perform a dash attack on one enemy, dealing AoE Pyro damage around the target. She will apply a special mark called Blood-Debt Directive to the target. Using Arlecchino's Charged Attack or her Elemental Burst will collect that mark and increase her Bond of Life effect.
The character's Elemental Burst is called Balemoon Bloodfire and makes her deal AoE Pyro damage and clear the cooldown on her Elemental Skill. It should be noted that the release of Genshin Impact Version 4.6 is still at least three weeks away, which allows HoYoverse to make additional adjustments to the character.
