Xbox Game Pass is offering users an opportunity to break bad with the likes of Chuck Norris, Danny Trejo, and Michael Madsen with this weekend's iteration of Free Play Days. Every week, Microsoft dishes out some extra bonuses to the platform's subscribers that provide an opportunity to play some games that may not necessarily be available on the service. Fortunately, if those users enjoy the experience, they're able to pick up the games on trial with a substantial discount so the fun needn't come to a halt just because the weekend's run its course.
Via Pure Xbox, Microsoft confirmed that this weekend's Free Play Days games include the explosive multiplayer shooter , which stars a wealth of veteran Hollywood actors like the aforementioned Norris, Trejo, and Madsen alongside fellow behemoths such as Danny Glover, Michael Rooker, Kim Basinger, and Vanilla Ice. The game tasks players with pulling off a variety of heists with infiltration tactics and explosive gunfights with the police when things (likely) go wrong. The shooter can be played with a squad of AI teammates but it's significantly more fun with friends.

It's no secret that didn't have the best release as many of the reviews criticized its flat voice-acting, despite the celebrity star power, and lack of meaningful content and progression. While it may not be on par with competitor, developer Ingame Studios has dropped several substantial updates that have drastically improved 's gameplay. New story content, seasonal events, and weapons have been added to the mix and the most recent patch included some impressive tweaks to how multiplayer works, resulting in a smoother experience.

As Microsoft continues to undergo some significant industrial changes behind the scenes, Xbox Game Pass remains excellent for players who want access to a library of games without breaking the bank. While it may not be raking in the money that Microsoft may have anticipated, the

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are already set up for a great weekend as Microsoft locks in two games for its weekly Free Play Days program, allowing users to get a taste of some new experiences with paying a cent. Not only do players have an opportunity to experience an explosive co-op shooter that's filled plenty of horrific monsters and buckets of blood, those squeamish fans can avoid the mayhem and revel in the joys of rampant capitalism. Better yet, if either experience is really appealing, they both sport a major discount so the fun doesn't have to end on Monday.
Sony has revealed the lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May. This month's PS Plus offerings are led by Red Dead Redemption 2, the acclaimed action-adventure Western from Rockstar Games. Other games coming to game catalog include co-op shooter Crime Boss: Rockay City, multiplayer first-person shooter Deceive Inc., survival sim Stranded: Alien Dawn and more. The games will be available to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier members as part of Game Catalog starting May 21.
One of the most underrated features of PlayStation Plus Premium is the game trials that it offers. Although Sony does not put its AAA games on the service the day they release, it and several other third-party publishers offer up free demos that essentially give players full access to the game for a limited period of time. It’s a great way to test a new game before you buy and it also gives you an excuse to try out a variety of different games this weekend without making the time commitment to beat them all. I looked through the full list of game trials that PlayStation Plus Premium offers and pinpointed three of the demos that are most worth your time.
As the weekend approaches, you’re probably happy that you’ll soon have more time to check out some video games. And if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber and aren’t sure what to play, you have a lot to choose from. That’s where I come in. I’ve looked through the Xbox Game Pass lineup and found three games that I think all kinds of players can have a good time with this weekend.
Another week has come to a premature conclusion, so it's time to discuss what we're playing this weekend. There's tons to choose from, so here's what's keeping us busy.
Danny DeVito has revealed in a recent interview that he'd be up for playing the role of Wario in a future Super Mario Bros. Movie project, something that fans have been wanting ever since the movie was first announced.
If you somehow haven’t played the 2018 open-world classic Red Dead Redemption 2 yet and you have a PlayStation Plus subscription, we have good news. PlayStation announced in a blog post Wednesday that the game will be available for free for the Plus program’s Extra and Premium tiers.

Blizzard is once again tuning their PvP damage reduction auras, and will be testing a 30% healing reduction in Season of Discovery this weekend. While it seems Blizzard is happy with the data from the previous test, a bit more adjustment is needed, so test it out over the next few days!
If you only tend to follow the biggest video game releases, it may seem like the Nintendo Switch is currently in a game drought. The system has only gotten a handful of niche releases last year, like Endless Ocean: Luminous, that haven’t been Zelda-level hits. Zoom out a bit, though, and you’ll find that Nintendo’s aging system is still thriving. That’s thanks to vibrant indie and third-party scenes that are keeping the platform engaging.
The weekend is here, so you probably want to sit back and relax by playing some video games. If you’re subscribed to PlayStation Plus Premium or Extra on PS4 or PS5, then there are tons of fantastic titles to choose from in the subscription service’s vast game catalog. It’s a lot to sift through, so I’ve handpicked three titles I think you should check out if you haven’t played them already.
