Fortnite's second My Hero Academia crossover added a new mythic item, Shoto Todoroki's Ice Wall, and while it's designed to stop incoming attacks and serve as a sort of shield, players have discovered it also blocks fall damage.
"Did you know the new Todoroki Ice Wall mythic can actually save you from fall damage?" Happy Power tweeted, attaching a clip of their match recap in which they get blasted off a cliff by an Ice Wall, just to place one under their feet and survive without taking a single drop of damage. You have to time it just right, but it works.

It's handy to have in your inventory for a few reasons. You can survive falls that would otherwise end your match prematurely, or you can block attacks. However, fans have found another use, particularly in Zero Build mode. Like it says on the tin, this mode disables all forms of building, so you have to find natural cover when you come under fire. Todoroki's Ice Wall then serves as a decent replacement as you can summon a giant barrier to climb and hide behind, taking potshots from a safe vantage point.
Voice actor and Twitch affiliate Juan also noted that you can stack the Ice Wall ability, so if you have a few on hand you can create higher defences.
Alternatively, you can place one in front and one behind, forming a defensive perimeter. Granted, two giant Ice Walls are bound to put a target on your back, but if you're in the middle of a gunfight or about to get sandwiched, it's a good option to have. One that doesn't involve solving the Enigma code to build a mansion in three seconds.
It's not the only mythic that the My Hero Academia crossover added. The infamous Deku's Smash is back.
It was shown off in the new trailer where a player hurtled toward an Ice Wall using the ability, but we didn't see the outcome. Players have since tried it in-game and found that Deku's Smash obliterates the Ice Wall, countering it.
My Hero Academia's second crossover is now live, with both mythics available in the game at the time of writing. You can also find Eijiro Kirishima (Red Riot), Shoto Todoroki, and Mina Ashido (Pinky) in the Item Shop.

We love a bit of anime here at Gameranx, and what a wide selection of content this genre has. In terms of video games though, unless you keep up with the current trends, there are an awful lot of anime games that you can miss out on. The PlayStation 4 is a very prolific console for this type of genre as well (it might have something to do with the Japanese connection) and the variety of games is about as impressive as it gets. But because there are so many great (and not-so-great) anime games out there, we thought we’d create a list of the 25 best PlayStation 4 anime games that you can’t pass up on.
