Fortnite Island Code Lets You Play a New Invincible Experience

Fans have gotten id Software's classic shooter Doom playable within Atlus' hit JRPG, Persona 5 Royal. The iconic first-person shooter game is one of id Software's most beloved titles, having been ported to several different video game systems over the past three decades. The effort hasn't stopped at official ports to consoles, as Doom is also quite famous for having been ported to non-gaming devices, including but not limited to a Google Smart Clock, an Amiga 2600, and many others. Some fans have now managed to get the game running within Persona 5 Royal.

It’s been more than a year since the Nintendo 3DS eShop shut down, but players will soon be able to access their library of 3DS games from their iPhone thanks to a new emulator. Mimicking the 3DS's iconic design, it will offer a split-screen view for players to dive into the Nintendo games on the go, putting well-loved games like on Apple's smart devices.

Bethesda Softworks has discussed the possibility of bringing cross-play and cross-progression to Fallout 76. Todd Howard, the senior game director behind the Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises, has laid out the developer’s plans for these features in not only Fallout 76 but all future Bethesda games.

It took a little longer than usual, but Helldivers 2's latest patch has finally dropped, giving us some new tweaks to certain weapons, an increase in difficulty for solo players, and some general balance changes. F1 24 is set to introduce some of the biggest changes the racing series has ever seen. Following the reveal of the massive physics update earlier this week, Codemasters has now unveiled the changes coming to Career Mode. For the first time, the developers will allow players to pick one of the current Formula One superstars or even a legendary driver like Ayrton Senna or Michael Schumacher. Royale-battler Fortnite will soon allow players to hide a handful of emotes the developers concede are "sometimes used in confrontational ways". This includes the emote reported as the most-used in Fortnite's seven-year history. That's either a worrying indictment of the game's players, or a (more?) worrying indictment of universal human psychology. What is the offending animation? Well, turns out people don't like being laughed at.

Epic Games has teased that LEGO Fortnite players will soon be able to properly tame and interact with animals, adding further depth to the free-to-play survival experience. Players may choose to use these immersive new features to befriend the many animals of LEGO Fortnite,or to create functional farms for their LEGO villages.
