A new leak of information about Fortnite suggests that new content based on the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra are arriving soon. As with other Fortnite crossover content, the Avatar additions will likely consist of themed cosmetic skins and accessories players can equip when playing.

Fortnite‘s newest season, Myths & Mortals, has been detailed by Epic Games ahead of today’s launch.
Chapter 5 Season 2, which is largely themed around ancient Greece, sees Mount Olympus added to the game’s map. This follows a season-long Pandora’s Box event which took place during Fortnite’s last season.
Other locations including Grim Gate, The Underworld and Brawler’s Battleground have also been added to the ever-changing live service juggernaut.
Alongside the updated map, a new weapon, the Thunderbolt of Zeus, has been added to Fortnite. Like other special gimmick weapons, it has a set number of charges, in this case three.
A Gatekeeper Shotgun can also now be acquired by defeating Cerberus, an in-game AI boss that will roam near Grim Gate. Similarly, the Harbinger SMG can be gained by defeating Hades.
Epic said this week that plans to bring the Epic Games Store and Fortnite to iOS devices in Europe have been suspended after Apple terminated its developer account.
In mid-February, the company said it had been granted a developer account that would enable it to launch the Epic Games Store and Fortnite on Apple devices in Europe this year.
However, on Wednesday, Epic published a blog post claiming that Apple has terminated its developer account, citing recent criticism of the iPhone maker’s policies and its previous issues with the Fortnite maker.
The European Union has since said it’s investigating Apple’s decision to terminate Epic’s iOS developer account.
Disney announced last month that it’s investing $1.5 billion to acquire an equity stake in Epic.
It was also revealed that the companies have teamed up to build a new universe connected to Fortnite that will let users “play, watch, shop and engage” with content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and Avatar.
