Ubisoft Montreal has released For Honor update 2.5, with Year 8 now underway. Announced last week, For Honor Year 8 will introduce even more content to the popular cross-platform fighting game including new maps, modes, and of course, heroes.
Year 8, titled “Forged in War”, is weapon-themed with a fancy new Hero Skin being added each season, delving into the backstories of famed warriors. The first of these, The Unsung Knight, is available now throughout Season 1. There is also a new, albeit time-limited “Last Hero Standing” game mode which pits three players against each other in a bloody battle royale.
Arcade Mode is now available to all players too. Originally part of the Marching Fires expansion (which introduced the Wu Lin faction), Arcade is fantastic way to brush up on your skills, pitting you in random encounters against dynamically modified enemies.
For Honor update 2.5 is available now across all platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Here are the latest patch notes.
