Even though there are more than 13,000 different Funko Pops out there right now, if you collect them or even if you don't, there are likely still characters or variations on those characters you would love to see get the Funko treatment. The good news is even though there are already so many Pop! figures, the Funko train shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. Especially at this time of year, and Funko has shown off two new Pop! figures for the first time from the worlds of Pokemon and Marvel.
Two fandoms that already have more Funko Pops than any one person could ever own, the newest introduction to the world of Pokemon Pops is Flocked Umbreon. Although all of the Eeveelutions have gradually been getting Flocked Pops, this is a very quick turnaround for the Dark-type. Umbreon was only recently turned into a regular Pop, so to get a Flocked version so quickly is great for anyone trying to catch all of the evolved Eevee variations.
On the Marvel side of the Funko coin, Kang is the next character getting turned into a Funko Pop! Well, Kang has been Funko'd before, of course. He's a pretty big deal in the comics and the movies. This new addition to the Kang Dynasty is a little different, though. Not only does the Pop's face glow blue when the lights are out, but there's also a version of the Pop! that comes bundled with a t-shirt, its design wielding Kang's powers on the chest.
All of Pokemon's Eeveelutions have gradually been getting their own Flocked Funko Pops, and now Umbreon is a part of that elite group. Getting Flocked shortly after its regular Pop! debuted, this version of Umbreon is a GameStop exclusive.
As is often the case when it comes to new Funko Pops, both Kang and Flocked Umbreon will be exclusives to particular storefronts when they are eventually made available. You'll need to go to GameStop if you want to add the glow-in-the-dark Kang to your Pop! collection, and the Flocked variant of Umbreon will only be available through Chalice Collectibles. The release dates and prices of each Pop! are yet to be revealed.
Kang, one of the most formidable villains in the multiverse, has taken multiple forms. There are an infinite number of Kangs, actually, so naturally at least one of them must glow in the dark, just like this Funko Pop! modeled after the character's iconic comic book look.
The Kang Pop! doesn't appear to have been modeled after the supervillain's design in Loki, but there is already a new Loki figure available following the finale of season two. Spoilers for the show if you're not caught up. The second season ends with Loki sidestepping Kang's inescapable plan by truly becoming a god, gathering up all the timelines and powering them himself. The god-like look Loki sports to do
