It’s a truth universally acknowledged that no great RPG can be complete without a quality collectible card game, and Square Enix brought the heat with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and its exceptional Queen’s Blood. The mode has proven a welcome distraction for adventurers working their way through the PS5 console exclusive, and word is there may be more on the way.

Speaking with Red Bull, director Naoki Hamaguchi said that while his team hasn’t “decided anything on future development”, feedback has been very positive and so it wants to “consider further expansions as a possibility”. There are already 145 cards in the game, but we could certainly see some kind of DLC add-on incorporating more.
Obviously, the original Final Fantasy 7 Remake did receive a significant expansion in the form of Intermission, so we suspect if Square Enix has additional content in mind for Rebirth, it’ll consider expanding upon the scope of Queen’s Blood as part of it. But would you be interested in playing more of the collectible card game? Deal your hand in the comments section below.

I love this game. I wish there were more opponents. Probably the best FF card game imo
@Andy22385 I guess some kind of expansions could add more opponents/tournaments/maybe even online play?
Queen’s Blood is so damn fun. Best part about it is the matches are quick
Awesome, Queen's Blood is so much fun.
Yeah love Queen's Blood and its actually one of my favourite things in the game.
I think they could actually expand on it and release it as a standalone game, like Hearthstone. Could be great fun playing it against friends
New opponents is one of my favorite things to look for when I go to a new town or region. But I feel like a lot of its rules are unnecessary and easy to abuse at least up to chapter 7
Most abilities especially the ones that reduce power, or destroy your own card to power up another, are kinda redundant and its mostly a game of who can fill in the board the most first. And if you start with a really good hand, it's almost impossible to lose. I do wonder how a match against an actual person would go though
@jt887 I don't think devs who improve performance and devs who add new Queen's Blood opponents are necessarily the same
Expand all you want but Triple Triad won't be dethroned
@Czar_Khastik queen's blood ain't got nothing triple triad, such a quality card game, they should
