This Christmas Sherlock co-creator Mark Gatiss brings a new ghostly short to the BBC starring Game of Thrones’ Kit Harrington and Pride's Freddie Fox. 

Capcom’sExoprimal has entered Season 2, with Title Update 2 bringing a new Survival Pass and content to the foray. It includes the Street Fighter 6 collaboration with Exosuit skins that resemble Guile, Chun-Li and Ryu. Vampire Survivors is the gift that keeps on giving, dropping a local multiplayer mode, flashy new engine and a whole bunch of other free stuff on top of a game that is already more than well worth its modest price tag. In the case of the screen-filling slay-’em-up’s next big update, it’s now a Christmas gift that keeps on giving, with a Santa’s sack worth of winter-inspired additions on the way. Oh, and it all arrives tomorrow. That’s nice.

Disney and developer Dlala Studios announced Disney Illusion Island in 2022, and it immediately shot up high on my list of games to play this year. It did so for several reasons – its beautifully realized visuals, top-notch voice acting, and, of course, the potential to play as some of my favorite characters in a Metroidvania-esque adventure. That wasn't all, though; The snippets of composer David Housden's score in the reveal trailer indicated this team was on to something. 

It was only back in 2018 that Paradox Interactive announced the acquisition of Shadowrun and BattleTech studio Harebrained Schemes in a deal worth $7.5 million, though in the immediate aftermath of their very first release together since the acquisition, it seems like their partnership is coming to an abrupt end.

If Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League ever comes out, the game will apparently be quite a large size, even by Rocksteady standards. The much-maligned game has had several delays over the years, and many wonder if the title will even be good by the time it finishes up and actually launches. All indications to this point say that’s not exactly something to hope for, but we have seen long-delayed games turn out good in the end. But what will excite players is that if the game follows the recent rumors on Reddit, then the map of the title will be twice the size of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Rocksteady Studios has been quiet on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League since its delay earlier this year. A recent leak from a Redditor (verified by a mod) alleged new details on the Deluxe and Day One Edition in addition to one year of post-launch support. They reportedly saw a new “not final” trailer at a recent trade show, stating that the game has real-time weather and a day/night cycle.

When Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was delayed past its initial May 2023 release date, it felt like a long way off. However, we’re in October, and neither Rocksteady Studios nor Warner Bros. Games has provided any updates. An official announcement could be coming soon, as a Redditor recently saw an internal “not final” trailer at a trade show.

It's a great time for fighting games, with the excellent Street Fighter 6 and the solid Mortal Kombat 1 launching this year. Of course, Tekken 8 is only a couple of months away too, and that appears to be shaping up very nicely indeed. Interestingly, Katsuhiro Harada, aka the face of Tekken, recently noted the game was due out much sooner, but it had to be moved to avoid a certain other fighter.

Do you remember Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League? It was a heavily hyped-up game, and as we approached its release, the community wasn’t fond of some of the decisions Rocksteady made. It’s since been delayed, and we haven’t seen anything new regarding the upcoming title. However, a new potential batch of leaks might have appeared on Reddit. A user on the website took notice of some details they’ve witnessed. Of course, we’re dealing with a grain of salt here. Since this is just comments being made online, it could very well be false.
