Genshin Impact is gearing up for its Version 4.5 update, Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade. Coming right at you on March 13, 2024, Genshin Impact Version 4.5 has new weapons, characters, quests and more. I guess it’s time to leave all those Liyue New Year festivities behind and sprint towards Mondstadt to help out folks like Jean, Lisa, and the rest of the Knights of Favonius with their potion-mixing business.
In Genshin Impact Version 4.5, you’ll be teaming up with Chiori. She’s a Thundering seamstress, the owner of the Chioriya Boutique and a tailor renowned through Fontaine. Chiori’s strutting in as a 5-star Geo sword goddess from Inazuma. When she’s not cutting cloth, she’s cutting down enemies with her automaton doll ‘Tamato.’
Tamato packs a punch based on Chiori’s Defense and Attack stats. When a Geo Construct pops up, she summons in an extra Tamato. In her Elemental Burst, she draws out twin swords for some serious Geo damage. Stick around for her Story Quest in Fashion Week, and you’ll see what it’s like to live a day in her stylish shoes. Take a peek at the trailer below!
The main event of the Genshin Impact Version 4.5 is the Alchemical Ascension. It’s where Lisa’s basically handing you the keys to your own potion shop. You’ll be brewing, crafting and selling the bubbling concoctions from your shop. And with the case you earn, you can buy cool upgrades and adorn your shop with decor.
The event also lets you win goodies like the Dialogues of the Desert Sages, a shiny 4-star weapon. Other events are also going down, including ‘Feline Fortress Furrdyssey’ where you can chill with cats. Or you can blast away in cannon-firing fun with ‘Rolling Crossfire.’
Chiori and Arataki Itto are stealing the show in the first half of Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Event Wishes. Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha tag in for the second half. There’s also a brand-new Chronicled Wish that’s stuffed with Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc and Jean. It also has more than 10 5-star weapons including Wolf’s Gravestone and Hunter’s Path.
Now that I’ve given you the rundown, it’s time for you to go play Genshin Impact Version 4.5! Get your hands on the game from the Google Play Store. Remember it drops on March 13th, so until then check out our other news. Ironhide Game Announces Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance!

A reliable source in the Genshin Impact community may have revealed the Event Banners for Version 4.6, featuring a few unexpected reruns. The bread-and-butter of Genshin Impact has always been its characters: they are the main appeal of the game, the driving force of its gameplay, and the primary source of profit for HoYoverse. As such, knowing which characters are releasing is considered valuable information to Genshin Impact players, as they can then choose how to spend their Primogems responsibly.
A Genshin Impact leak reveals gameplay for a world boss that will arrive in version 4.6. The Genshin Impact version 4.6 beta has recently begun, and meanwhile, many details regarding the upcoming content have surfaced online. According to these leaked details, Arlecchino will be added to the weekly boss rotation, and new golem enemies will appear in an underground section. Players barely know anything about these mysterious golems, as they weren't mentioned in a leak until a few days ago.
A new chart for Genshin Impact details the ownership rates for the game's five-star characters, showing how many players have picked up the game's most powerful characters. Since the debut of the massively popular RPG in late 2020, HoYoverse has added a wide variety of new characters to the open-world action game. Each update to the game has typically added at least one roster member to the game, with the recent Version 4.5 update introducing Chiori as Genshin Impact's newest five-star unit. Now, a recent chart shares more information about the game's rarest characters.
Using Chiori’s best build in can significantly improve her performance as a Geo sub-DPS and support on the field, which in turn results in extra damage output and less trouble from opponents. The 5-star unit is one of the new pieces of content added with Version 4.5 in mid-March. The character had previously been introduced as an NPC in Version 4.3’s flagship event but is now fully playable. Chiori’s main usage as a new character in 4.5 is dealing Geo DMG while off-field, supporting her main Geo DPS unit for increased elemental resonance.
As beta testing for Version 4.6 continues, it would seem that Genshin Impact will be receiving numerous quality-of-life features in the upcoming patch. Though Fontaine has added its fair share of memorable characters to the Genshin Impact cast, and it has introduced new features such as underwater exploration, it could be argued that its evergreen quality-of-life changes have been a highlight in and of itself.
With beta testing for Version 4.6 in full swing, a reliable source in the Genshin Impact community has revealed which characters will have Story Quests in the new update. Story Quests have been a steady way for Genshin Impact to tell individual stories concerning a character, reveal important lore about the world of Teyvat, or even introduce a new weekly boss. Version 4.6 is set to be one of the biggest content updates in Genshin Impact's history, as it will also launch with multiple Story Quests on top of the new zone and Flagship Event.
Genshin Impact players can now have their first glimpse into the new zone of Remuria, located below the surface of Teyvat on a separate world map. While Version 4.5 is considered by many to be a quieter patch, Version 4.6 of Genshin Impact appears to be packed with new content. The update will mark the arrival of Arlecchino as a playable character, and will introduce two new artifact sets, a new world boss, and a new Trounce Domain near Mont Esus. More importantly, it will feature the third subterranean zone after Enkanomiya and the Chasm, which have traditionally been fan favorites.
Genshin Impact has revealed a character demo for Chiori, showcasing her abilities, personality, and style. Genshin Impact has released a wide roster of characters over the course of its history, and Fontaine alone has brought several new favorites to the ensemble. From Neuvillette and Furina revolutionizing Hydro teams with new types of gameplay, to Xianyun bringing an entire niche into the mainstream. By contrast, Chiori is meant to be a more conservative addition to Genshin Impact, but that may not necessarily reduce her value.
According to rumors, Genshin Impact will be making the map of Teyvat whole again with Version 4.6, as it will feature the island town of Petrichor, Bayda Harbor, and the underwater ruins of Remuria. Though previous leaks have pointed towards Bayda Harbor and Petrichor as almost separate map expansions, it would appear that both claims may end up being correct. Genshin Impact has long teased this particular corner of Teyvat, and closing off the Fontaine update cycle with a zone featuring the ruins of a dead civilization is aptly fitting.
Genshin Impact is bringing two new Artifacts Sets in Version 4.6, and one of them seems to hint towards an upcoming Dendro character. Though not all ability kits are created equal in Genshin Impact and sometimes 5-stars such as Alhaitham and Neuvillette emerge on top of the meta, artifacts are arguably the main source of power for a Genshin Impact character. Artifact Sets such as Viridescent Venerer and Emblem of Severed Fate have long been a mainstay when it comes to team-building in Genshin Impact, but Fontaine and Sumeru brought a fair few heavy hitters as well.
As Version 4.5 nears launch on March 13, Genshin Impact players can already have a reliable overview of the full slate of events coming in Version 4.6. While Genshin Impact has had a memorable slew of Flagship Events over the course of its history, from a gameplay perspective, they often represent the main source of Primogems that players can obtain aside from completing daily commissions. Though there's a small likelihood that the Flagship Event of Version 4.6 will match the generosity of the Lantern Rite, it is still expected to be a content-heavy patch.
