F1 24 Trailer Previews New Features, Overhauled Career Mode

In its continuing quest to become Everything to Everyone, Fortnite has shapeshifted, The Thing-like, into a new Lego Star Wars game. The Lego Fortnite survival mode has been expanded with a new, permanent Star Wars world, with this weekend - which includes May the Fourth, don’tcha know - also kicking off a new battle pass and bringing additions to every other part of Fortnite: whether you’re playing it as a battle royale shooter (remember that?), racing game or music-rhythm successor to Guitar Hero.

The Star Wars: The Old Republic team revealed details about Update 7.5 in a special stream today. We can expect the next chapter of the Desperate Defiance story, a new spring event on Dantooine, new single-player content, PvP Season 6, and more.

Bethesda has revealed what’s coming in the Starfield May update, with new detailed maps, ship customisation, difficulty modes and higher Xbox Series X performance modes. The update is out now in Steam Beta on PC, with the general release coming on 15th May.

F1 24 is a little more than a month away from launch, and Codemasters and EA Sports are continuing to reveal new details on the racing sim. Plenty more of that has come courtesy of a new gameplay deep dive.

Escape From Tarkov, the extraction FPS from developer Battlestate, recently put up a new Unheard edition of the game for pre-order, and tarkov escapers aren't happy about it. The price for this bundle - which includes a new mode, a bigger stash, and assorted gubbins - comes in at $250, or around two actual hundred actual pounds, but the price alone isn’t necessarily what’s got a section of the player base so tarked-off that a few of them are even loudly considering a lawsuit.

F1 24 is set to introduce some of the biggest changes the racing series has ever seen. Following the reveal of the massive physics update earlier this week, Codemasters has now unveiled the changes coming to Career Mode. For the first time, the developers will allow players to pick one of the current Formula One superstars or even a legendary driver like Ayrton Senna or Michael Schumacher. The banished prince of the Fire Nation is on his way to in a new DLC. Coming April 24, the latest DLC adds Prince Zuko to Nickelodeon’s crossover platform fighting game. He’s the second of four fighters added by the $24.99 Season Pass or available separately for $6.99.
