The Battle Academy is a product set to help players learn and master the mechanics of the and the cards themselves. These specific promo cards will likely be exclusive to the 2024 Battle Academy product and will not be obtainable in regular boosters or other products of the sort.
In addition to the big headliners that will be the main cards in these three decks, several other promo cards were also listed, as stated by. In total, there are eight other promo cards featured in the 2024 set, not considering the several other cards that should be part of the decks and the overall product. In Japan’s Battle Academy, registered 98 different cards, including several other promo cards that have not yet been listed in the English version. The list below shows all of the eight other promo cards listed so far:
Pokebeach highlights that the listed cards missing from the Japan Battle Academy promos are Greninja ex, Houndstone ex, Lucario ex, and Melmetal ex. This is part of the 37 cards that have not yet seen an official English release. The cards in the 2024 Battle Academy set will be valid for tournaments and other types of competitions starting on April 26.
The date that the cards become valid is somewhat curious, as the release date for the Battle Academy box set is June 21, according to Pokebeach. The outlet highlights the possibility of the new set being sold during the Europe International Championships. In the US, the price of the 2024 Battle Academy set is $24.99. Alongside the standard expansion releases planned throughout the entire year, 2024 seems like a good period to get into or return to .
