Skydance New Media revealed its first story trailer for as part of Epic’s “State Of Unreal” presentation at the 2024 Game Developers Conference (GDC). The title had previously been announced with a teaser trailer in 2022, at the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, but the newer story trailer has provided a better look at the game's key characters and has given some insight into their mission through Occupied France during World War 2.

Khary Payton is playing Azzuri, also known as King T'Chanda, and this period's Black Panther. Azzuri is the grandfather to the modern-day Black Panther, T'Challa. Azzuri can be seen keeping largely to the rooftops of Paris, using his parkour skills to move above enemy forces undetected, observing them before taking them out with speed and agility.
Drew Moerlein plays Steve Rogers, also known as America's super-soldier, Captain America. Despite being deployed in Occupied France to combat Hydra forces, Captain America can be heard voicing his concerns about the «six-foot tall cat man with claws that can cut through vibranium alloy», along with another, unnamed super-soldier in Paris, calling it «two too many». Throughout the trailer,Rogers can be seen exploring the aftermath of Black Panther's attacks on Hydra as he tracks the Wakandan hero, leading to a confrontation between the two on a bridge.
Megalyn Echikunwoke plays Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied France. Throughout the trailer, she can be seen advising Azzuri to keep to the rooftops and to be careful when approaching Hydra, while also warning him of the Americans tracking him.In the comics, Nanali was the Queen of Wakanda during World War 2, and was in a relationship with Azzuri, and while this isn't confirmed by Marvel's announcement or the trailer, from the chemistry displayed between the two characters in it's likely that this will be the case in this portrayal.
Marque Richardson plays Gabriel Jones, a U.S. soldier and member of the elite group, the Howling Commandos. 's trailer shows Jones mostly interacting with Nanali, who has infiltrated the American base in search of information. Jones was a regular cast
