Elden Ring has a set of chest armour called the Depraved Perfumer Robe which is embroidered with a writhing red snake that wraps around itself. It was long assumed that this was a reference to Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, the god-devouring serpent found at Volcano Manor. However, in light of Shadow of the Erdtree's first trailer, fans think the armour might have been teasing Messmer this entire time.
