Capcom has announced a Dragon’s Dogma 2 showcase for later this month.
The presentation will take place on Tuesday, November 28, and will start at 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 9pm GMT.
According to Capcom, the stream will show “brand new gameplay reveals in an info-packed 15 minute livestream, directly from director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi”.
The game doesn’t currently have a release date, but it was recently rated in Saudi Arabia, suggesting a release date may not be far off.
Capcom also recently published an investor Q&A in English claiming that an “undisclosed” title would be released by the end of its fiscal year, ending in March 2024.
This was initially translated from the Japanese Q&A as “unannounced”, suggesting a previously unrevealed title, but the official English language could cover Dragon’s Dogma 2, which is currently Capcom’s only significant announced title.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was announced last year during a live stream celebrating the original game’s 10th anniversary.
In a recent hands-on Dragon’s Dogma 2 preview, VGC said the sequel “feels a lot like the first game, and that’s a good thing”.
“So far, Dragon’s Dogma 2 certainly feels a lot like the game that has come before it, though we have to bear in mind it’s still the first playable build at a relatively early part of the game,” our writer said.
“As long as it remains weird for all the reasons its most hardcore fans have championed it all these years, that’s no bad thing at all.”

Alongside a new trailer showing what Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will sound like in English, Sega also confirmed Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name's English dub will release for free this month. The new trailer shows scenes that will be familiar to anyone who watched the Japanese trailer back in September, but it's nice to hear familiar voices connected to this new footage. The trailer also gives us a chance to hear Daniel Dae Kim's Masataka Ebina and Danny Trejo's Dwight. Here's what Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has to say about the two characters.
One year on from its rocky launch, co-op shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has been on a bit of an apology tour, making major overhauls of core systems to get the game into a more lovable state. So far it's been a really successful makeover, and it's culminated in a big free expansion, The Traitor Curse, released in two parts. We got the first part last month, and now we've got details of the second, along with a promise to have it out before the winter holidays.
After the success of the Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 remakes, Capcom has confirmed plans to continue the trend, although stopped short of announcing which Resident Evil game is next in line for the remake treatment.
Capcom's fantasy action-RPG Dragon's Dogma 2 will sell for $69.99 - $70, if you disregard the usual "deduct one cent to fool silly left-to-right readers into thinking it's significantly cheaper" gambit - when it releases in March 2024. If you're in the UK, the figure is currently £53.98 on Steam. It's the first time Capcom have sold the base edition of a game for $70 in the US of A, and follows comments this September from a Capcom executive that videogames are priced "too low" these days, based on how much games cost to make.
Dragon’s Dogma II will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on March 22, 2024 for $69.99, Capcom announced. Pre-orders are available now.
Capcom already has a busy 2024 planned, with several big games scheduled. It has just been revealed that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will launch on March 22, 2024.
The Dragon’s Dogma 2 showcase planned for today will reveal the game’s release date, according to its director.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is finally unveiling its release date later today.
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting an Ultimate Edition, which includes the latest version of the game, alongside the Phantom Liberty expansion. The complete version is set to launch December 5, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X, with the last of them getting a full physical release. The Xbox package will come with three discs comprising all content, whereas the PS5 version will include a disc for the base version with the v2.0 overhaul and a voucher for the expansion to be downloaded from the PlayStation store. Meanwhile, the PC version serves a redeemable code on the GOG platform — no discs at all — CD Projekt Red's own gaming client, which ensures it keeps the full cut from the purchase.

Capcom have announced a showcase for November 28th to delve into Dragon’s Dogma 2, a sequel to their oddball fantasy RPG from 2012. That’s exciting news to me, since the original’s small-person-climbs-big-monster combat was pure fun to simply watch. Doing the actual monster-stabbing was even better, though, and thankfully the sequel’s release date doesn’t seem that far off if a videogame ratings board is to be believed (accidental ratings boards leaks being the way many release dates are revealed these days).
