For all the positive things players have to say about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, one aspect of the game which we've seen nothing but ire directed towards is its confusingly worded retry screen, which players will be hit with in the event of a Game Over. Thankfully, this issue has been quietly addressed in the game's most recent patch, which fixed Platinum Trophy progression, making it at least slightly less confusing now.

The situation on the ground remains extremely fluid; following the successful liberation of Malevelon Creek, a symbolic victory for the forces of Super Earth, developer Arrowhead updated the game, which was apparently the signal for Automaton forces to unleash fresh hell, as some extras not listed in the patch notes began to make their presence known.

Sea of Thieves sails into uncharted waters on 30th April, when the formerly Xbox-exclusive pirate simulator catches stranger tides and arrives on PS5. In terms of performance, it will offer parity with the Xbox Series X version (60fps, 4K), and for those jumping ship or turning coat, Xbox players can transfer their progress and items over to PlayStation.

The pivotal battle against the Automatons marked the community's first significant loss, which was recently avenged as a part of the ongoing Operation Swift Disassembly. To celebrate, 1st April will henceforth be known as Malevelon Creek Memorial Day, which should be spent in pensive reflection while simultaneously mainlining Helldivers 2.

In February, we brought you word of a group of Google engineers who, apparently just for fun, managed to hack Sony's streaming PS Portal to run emulated PSP games offline. Being courageous White Hat types, the group «responsibly reported» the issues to Sony.
