Destiny 2 – Onslaught Will Remain Playable After The Final Shape Launches

Bungie’s next expansion for Destiny 2, The Final Shape, launches on June 4th. As the conclusion to the Light and Darkness saga, it sees players venturing into the Pale Heart of the Traveller to defeat The Witness. Alongside a single-player campaign, players can partake in a new raid as the final battle against The Witness.

The 2018 medieval action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance is getting a follow-up this year that promises to be twice the size of the original game, hinting at a bigger map, more features, and a greater number of quests. While the original courted controversy over depicting a recreation of 15th Century Bohemia devoid of people of color due to 'historical accuracy,' Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's grander scope means "a wide range of ethnicities."

The Final Shape raid, the long-awaited event for Destiny 2, will finally be launched during the first week of June. This upcoming raid is one of the biggest moments in the history of Destiny 2, and there's now a clear time frame to look forward to.

After pushing back the initial release of, Bungie showed off game-breaking new systems and challenges coming to the looter-shooter. is believed to be the last major expansion of and wraps up the Light and Darkness Saga that began over a decade ago. This DLC will not be the last new content, as Bungie has already confirmed three episodic updates — replacing the current seasonal model — that will tell stories about the enemy factions that have stayed out of the grand scheme of the saga.

Based on all that we’ve seen of Star Wars Outlaws so far, it’s clear that its Reputation system is going to be central to the experience. As protagonist Kay Vess navigates the Outer Rim’s criminal underworld and works with (and against) a variety of factions during the course of her journey, the decisions you make as the player will affect her standing with each of those factions– which, in turn, will have a variety of gameplay consequences, as you may have guessed.

Bungie has revealed significant HUD changes coming in Destiny 2's The Final Shape update that focus on providing more information about active buffs and debuffs. Today, during The Final Shape Developer Gameplay Preview, Bungie revealed the latest information on the development of The Final Shape and hinted at what’s coming next for Destiny 2. On June 4, Guardians will finally enter The Pale Heart of the Traveler to chase after the Witness, wielding new powers to take on the ultimate enemy. The Developer Gameplay Preview also showed off the Prismatic Subclass—which combines the powers of the Light and Darkness—as well as the first-ever Exotic class items in Destiny 2 and the Dread, the Witness’s new enemy faction.

A new gameplay trailer for Destiny 2: The Final Shape saw Bungie unveiling the new Prismatic subclasses. In a new article recapping its gameplay preview, it outlined how this would work. First off, players will have two meters, charged by dealing Light and Darkness damage. Once it’s available, you can activate Transcendence, which provides a new unique grenade and weapon bonuses.

It allows mixing and matching abilities, like unleashing a Needlestorm and using Phoenix Dive to recover health.
