Some Destiny 2 players are hoping that Bungie will add three armor sets that have long existed in the franchise but are not obtainable when The Final Shape launches. With every new season of Destiny 2, Bungie has added new armor sets to the first-person shooter to the point where the game has a massive collection for players to choose from. Whether it is Strikes, Crucible, Iron Banner, or raids, almost every activity in the game has an armor set that players can chase after.
Fashion in Destiny 2 has always been a significant feature in the game, with armor having a central role. With the addition of Destiny 2's Appearance Customization System, players could change their armor to look like another piece, provided they had first unlocked it. The transmog system allows most Destiny 2 players to now wear their strongest armor pieces to tackle endgame content and not have to sacrifice look for functionality. However, despite having so many armor pieces to choose from, there are some that have stuck with players since their Destiny days.
This is the case with the very first armor sets that players will see their Guardian in when looking at the character selection screen upon booting up Destiny. For Hunters, the armor set is a brown one that features a helmet with what looks to be an air filter, while the selectable Warlock character wears a long red jacket that is opened from the waist down. On the other hand, Titans could select a character wearing a white and black plated armor set. Variations of these armor sets were shown to be worn by a fireteam in the Season 19 Witch Queen cutscene where the Traveler leaves the Tower and Earth.
While the exact sets are not in the game, players have found similar armor pieces, such as the Prodigal armor set worn by Warlocks. The post by Reddit user HimB0Z0 prompted some fans to share armor sets that they would love to see added to Destiny 2, with one even hoping that Commander Zavala’s is added to the game. Some fans believe that the addition of these armor sets would be an excellent way to end what has been a decade-spanning series.
However, fans will have to wait a while as Destiny 2 is in the middle of the longest season in the history of the series as The Final Shape has been delayed until June. While details are minimal for now, Bungie is planning to release an update before The Final Shape called In the Light that may hold new armor that Destiny 2 players can add to their collection.

Bungie has been uncharacteristically generous as of late. At first glance, it seems that Destiny 2 players are eating well. But Bungie’s change of pace doesn’t read like its usual exchange for goodwill — something that especially rings true when looking at the state of the studio.
Post-apocalyptic RPG fans are in luck; the next batch of freebies coming to the Epic Games Store have been revealed, and two bonafide RPG classes — Fallout and Fallout 2 — have made the list alongside Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel.
The new Version 2.0 update for added one of the strangest Achievements in the game so far, offering players a chance to get Stellar Jade in a very counter-intuitive manner. The patch kicked off the popular turn-based RPG’s second year of content and introduced the planet of Penacony, also known as the Land of Dreams for players to explore. This is an entirely new destination, much like Jarilo-VI and the Xianzhou Luofu, and it is expected to expand with more future updates.
Star Wars fans have gotten used to every new story focusing on some hero making bold strides for the good of the galaxy, from Luke to Rey, and even more subtle takes like the antifascist radicalization story of Andor. But some have realized that perhapsThe Mandalorian may be less of a heroic tale than it seems.
Though Destiny 2‘s Season 23 narrative is more or less concluded, there are still some new rewards inbound for the game. Bungie has revealed that a new suite of weapons will soon arrive for pinnacle activities. And players will have plenty of time, even through The Final Shape, to earn them.
A new update for The Finals disables the infamous Dead Go Boom event, but likely only for as long as it takes for the developers to come up with a re-worked version that isn't so brutal for melee players.
A passionate Pokemon fan has designed an impressive Monster Hunter version of Rayquaza alongside a specially themed armor and weapon set. The Pokemon fan also provided in-depth descriptions of the Legendary Pokemon, armor, and weapons from the perspective of a skilled hunter instead of a Pokemon Trainer.

While it might be hard to track down when exactly it started, we’re honestly sure ourselves, the idea of characters from another gaming franchise “crossing over” into another series has been going on for decades. The appeal of these crossovers is obvious. First, they give players the chance to play as characters they wouldn’t get to play as regularly, and two, they can create awareness of other brands, titles, series, etc. That’s why so many fighting game franchises love having these kinds of crossovers. It’s free hype, and many expect Tekken 8 to join that legacy. After all, the last entry in the franchise had several 3rd party characters appear.
