Through V's journey through the underworld of Night City, they'll be able to meet up with several surgeons who specialize in equipping cybernetic augmentations to the protagonist's body, making them significantly more powerful in the process. One such upgrade is the Sandevistan operating system which works wonders if it's installed correctly.
Posted to Reddit by user Dea_Ultima, their brief video highlights a fun glitch that sees the Sandevistan status effect speed up NPC movements rather than slow them down.
When the buff is traditionally meant to allow V to slow down their perception and get the jump on enemies, this bug, which only occurs when they use the Militech «Apogee» makes the world move faster, prompting suggestions that the Ripperdoc who installed the mod placed it in backward. While it's not possible for Ripperdocs to make such an accident in the game, it's still a fun explanation behind a fairly annoying bug.
After consulting with the community about what could be causing the glitch, Dea_Ultima ultimately found out that the problem was caused by a conflict with a mod they had installed. Removing the add-on seemingly fixed the issue, meaning their Sandevistan operating system resumed its normal perception-enhancing qualities. One can't exactly judge them for thinking it was just a standard bug that occurred without the existence of any software mods considering 's glitchy reputation.
As for the Sandevistan operating system, the implant is widely regarded as one of the best upgrades in the game, especially when it comes to players who have specced their V into a build that prioritizes melee combat. Aside from slowing time, certain variants of the cyberware come with the added bonus of additional Critical Damage and Critical Chance, which is perfect for those who want to get into the fray and begin swinging with some bladed weapons. Ranged builds can also make good use of it, especially for snipers looking for extra time to line up a clean headshot.
While is already loaded with various cyberware implants for players to uncover, those hoping for even more additions will likely be disappointed. Developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it's in the process of shifting its focus over to the development of the fourth game which does not yet have a release date. Aside from this, the studio is also working on a sequel to which currently sports the codename «Orion.»
