Chucky Highlighted in Dead by Daylight Spotlight Trailer

History is everywhere in , but one tragic little detail really hammers it home. Set mostly in 1899, as the Wild West era is beginning to come to an end, tackles the truth and the myth of the American cowboy. It allows players to roam around a well-researched, detailed recreation of the American west, taking in lessons about the period and its influences on the modern day.

Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight universe is about to get even bigger with The Casting of Frank Stone, which is being developed by The Dark Pictures Anthology studio Supermassive Games. 

Dead by Daylight's ghastly universe is slowly spinning open with the brand-new interactive horror game The Casting of Frank Stone, developers Behaviour Interactive and Until Dawn creators Supermassive Games revealed in a trailer at The Game Awards 2023.

Earlier this year, Supermassive Games, the team behind The Quarry, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and Until Dawn, announced it was collaborating with Behaviour Interactive to create a single-player game set in the latter's Dead by Daylight universe. After teasing an appearance at The Game Awards 2023 yesterday online, the teams have officially revealed The Casting of Frank Stone. It hits PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime in 2024.

Behaviour Interactive announced earlier this year that it had partnered with Supermassive Games (Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology) for the development of a new single player narrative-driven horror title set in the Dead by Daylight universe, and as recently confirmed, the game was formally unveiled at The Game Awards.

Back in May, Behaviour Interactive teased a new singleplayer horror game set in the Dead by Daylight universe being developed by Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and The Quarry. Tonight at The Game Awards, that game was formally unveiled as The Casting of Frank Stone, a narrative-focused game that promises «an unprecedented look at the wider world of Dead by Daylight.»

If The Outlast Trials isn’t enough horror, The Game Awards will also see Supermassive Games’ Dead by Daylight title appearing. A new tweet is available, featuring the message from studio director Steve Goss and executive producer Traci Tufte from May, which promised more details later this year. It seems we’ll finally learn more on December 7th.

The Game Awards air this week, and anticipation to see the year's big winners, as well as some exclusive game reveals, grows by the minute. Throwing kerosene on the flames of our hype is the official Geoff Keighley Hype Trailer, which our host with the most personally edited and released to a ravenous audience.

Roger Clark, the actor voicing and portraying Arthur Morgan in RDR2, believes that Red Dead Redemption 3 will happen eventually.
