A Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies player has achieved a new high round previously thought to be impossible. The dedicated Twitch streamer spent dozens of hours in an attempt to reach round 100 solo on a Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies map, becoming the first person ever to complete the monumental feat.
Call of Duty: Black Ops ushered in a new age for Activision's Call of Duty franchise, and while the game featured a rich multiplayer component as well as a satisfying and action-packed campaign, for many, Call of Duty: Black Ops is most remembered for its fun Zombies mode. Continuing from Call of Duty: World at War, Black Ops debuted with a feature-rich Zombies mode, complete with a complex storyline, deep gameplay mechanics, and incredibly entertaining main protagonists. Now, a record thought to be impossible in Call of Duty: Black Ops' Zombies mode has finally been beaten.
Twitch streamer PromptTheStealthPatcher finally broke a record thought to be unbeatable in Call of Duty: Black Ops, sharing their achievement online. Even years later, players are still competing against each other in an attempt to break records in Call of Duty Zombies. Earlier this week, the streamer reached round 100 on Call of Duty: Black Ops' Call of the Dead Zombies map. The map was added to Black Ops as a separate DLC after the game's release and is one of the largest and toughest maps to play. Getting to round 100 is impressive on its own, but the player managed to do so completely solo.
This massive achievement has been 13 years in the making and took the streamer a whopping 61 hours to complete. Call of the Dead is a challenging map due to its limited arsenal of «Wonder Weapons» and harsh environment. The map also features a zombified version of legendary movie director George Romero, who chases players during the match. While thought to be impossible, this record was achieved thanks to a new strategy.
The newly discovered strategy involves despawning hordes of zombies behind a barrier located in the cave area on the map. Instead of players having to wait for zombies to hop out and shoot them, despawning zombies counts as killing them, speeding up the process. Players are constantly attempting to break records in Call of Duty Zombies, with this newest one being a milestone for the franchise. Close to 14 years after Call of Duty Black Ops' release, players are still showing their passion for the game and Treyarch's legendary Zombies game mode.
The seventh entry in the wildly popular Call of Duty FPS franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops is set during the events of the Cold War. The game sees the return of classic CoD game modes, including single-player campaign and competitive PVP game modes, and even the infamous Zombies mode.

The Clash game mode is just one of the new features to come to Overwatch 2 with Season 10, though the arrival of the Hanaoka map for this mode coincides with the temporary removal of the classic map Hanamura due to an issue that wrecked the level's geometry and made it completely unplayable. Although Hanamura doesn't appear in regular Quick Play or Competitive playlists, along with all other Overwatch 2 maps that are part of the old Assault game mode, these levels have nonetheless existed in the game since launch and are accessible via either the Arcade game mode or through custom games.
