I can feel some kind of sore throat bug coming on. It must be the baleful influence of Creative Assembly's latest free update for bellowing strategy bonanza Total War: Warhammer 3. Out 30th April, the update introduces Epidemius, Proctor of Pestilence - a new Nurgle Legendary Lord who gains rewards based on how many ickle diseases you’ve spread to other factions (already my favourite aspect of playing Nurgle in the game). Does Epidemius also get buffs if the player is infected by something? I hope so. It would be a consolation to know that my ailing trachea is contributing to the Nurgle cause.

Update: Just as we published this article, HoYoverse has announced that pre-registration for the game is available now. As is common for the developer, it'll be tracking the total number of players who sign up, and will be promising bountiful in-game rewards if it reaches its ambitious 40 million players milestone. Officially, the release date is still «2024».

Warner Bros. may be updating its patented Nemesis System to allow players to form their own NPC factions and followers to help them in battle. Warner Bros-owned developer Monolith Productions first introduced the Nemesis System in 2014’s Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, which featured enemies that reacted to and remembered the player’s actions, resulting in more personal rivalries and relationships with Orc foes that all had unique names and behavioral patterns.

In August 2023, the Indian government restricted the import of laptops, tablets, and personal computers. The import was only allowed with a valid licence. After several reported concerns, the government on October 19 tweaked the import rules for laptops and computers. World of Warcraft just revealed an ambitious roadmap for Cataclysm Classic that will blitz through the iconic expansion in under a year. Starting with the Cataclysm Classic Pre-Patch on April 30 and its full release on May 20, World of Warcraft players will experience a new major update every few months until the final patch releases in January 2025.
