Sony has been working hard over the last several years to take their console-exclusive titles and bring them to PC so that they can reach a new audience and potentially expand the success of their IPs. Sure enough, many titles they’ve put on PC have done well, including the games with Kratos, Joel and Ellie, Spider-Man, and more. One of the others that has also done well on PC is Aloy, whose first adventure was brought to PC a while back, and then many wondered when the sequel would come. Well, Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition has officially been announced for PC.
Three years after Xbox and CD Projekt Red partnered to release a limited edition, Cyberpunk 2077-themed Xbox One X console, many of those who bought it are beginning to regret the purchase. Why? Because they're still waiting, years later, for any information at all regarding a refund for the recent Cyberpunk 2077 DLC release: Phantom Liberty, which was originally supposed to be in the bundle.
Last year, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were not only announced but eventually released. The game had one of the most unique launches in Nintendo history. How so? On the one hand, the title had the biggest software launch that Nintendo ever saw, reaching ten million units in just three days. While that would eventually be matched by a certain title from 2023, it’s still a record holder. On the other hand, the launch was infamous because of how many bugs and glitches were in the game, which was very uncharacteristic for The Pokemon Company and something that the title is still truly ragged for.
Persona 3 Portable is getting a physical release for consoles, and the pre-order period begins soon.
After launching for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC earlier this year, Rogue Games’ The Last Case of Benedict Fox is coming to PS5. Rogue Games and Plot Twist announced the Definitive Edition of the Metroidvania title, though no release date has been mentioned. Check out the trailer below.

Microsoft made a number of announcements during its Xbox Digital Broadcast at Tokyo Game Show 2023, most of which revolved around Japan and Japan-inspired games and updates. Xbox boss Phil Spencer and Head of Xbox Creator Experience Sarah Bond talked about the importance of the Japanese market. "Japan will always have a special place in my heart for pioneering innovative ways to play, from the Game Boy, to PSP, to the Switch," Spencer said.
City Connection, in cooperation with Freemode, has announced Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers. A full reveal is set for the opening day of Tokyo Game Show 2023, which will run from September 21 to 24 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
