Jet Set Radio-esque cycling delivery sim Parcel Corps has been on our wishlist for quite some time, and now it has an expected arrival date: 3rd September, 2024. That’s going to be a big day, because it also happens to be the release date for the upcoming Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions game – you may want to make a note on your calendar so you can plan accordingly, eh?

During the Xbox Showcase, we got our first proper look at the recently re-named Dragon Age: The Veilguard, with the CGI trailer BioWare opted for promptly getting torn to shreds by starving fans. In response (probably), the developer has released a sneak peek at gameplay ahead of a longer showing planned for tomorrow. We are pleased to report that it looks like the proper, grimdark Dragon Age we all know and love.

Some time ago, not too long after Phantom Blade Zero was first announced, we pondered whether the game was… well, a real game. In some ways, the project almost looked too good to be true, but as promised in its latest trailer, a playable demo build is actually on show at Summer Game Fest.

More than a decade after the first game, Crazy Viking Studios has announced Volgarr the Viking 2 is a thing and it's just around the corner. The sequel releases for PS5 and PS4 on 6th August 2024, and you can get your first look in the trailer above. It's designed to be just as difficult as the original, but new features like checkpoints, unlimited continues, save profiles, and a practice mode provide some flexibility for those who need it.

2K promised it would be bringing a new entry to one of its biggest and most beloved franchises, and that all-new game is Civilization VII. Confirmed for PS5 and PS4, you can see the announcement trailer above. It's releasing in 2025.

Playtonic Games has announced it's bringing back the original Yooka-Laylee game for a current-gen remaster, with the first footage revealed in the trailer above. Along with the usual graphics enhancements, there's also going to be a «new camera, improved controls, ability tweaks, [and] remixed and new challenges». A release date wasn't shared, and while a PS5 version isn't explicitly mentioned, it seems a certainty.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard finally has a release window (not a date). It's heading to PS5 this autumn / fall, and we get our first look at the RPG via the above reveal trailer. Our immediate takeaways are that BioWare's actually going with a slightly cartoon-y art style, recurring dwarf character Varric is a lot older, and whoever put this trailer together has absolutely butchered David Bowie's classic Heroes. Horrifying.

Sony is plunging the depths of emerging markets to bolster its content offering on PS5 and PS4, and that’s resulting in plenty of diverse content like Infinity Nikki, the open world anime dress-up game which has exploded in popularity on PlayStation’s YouTube channel. It’s one of a number of Chinese titles on the way, with Ballad of Antara, Marvel Rivals, and Where Winds Meet also featured in the format holder’s recent State of Play – and Zenless Zone Zero due out in a matter of weeks.

We absolutely loved 2011’s launch game Uncharted: Golden Abyss on PS Vita, but it’s not necessarily a release you’d want your tentpole AAA title to be compared to. In the aftermath of last night’s Ubisoft Forward livestream, where Star Wars Outlaws looked largely outstanding in our opinion, media has been publishing impressions – and they’re pretty scathing.

Bokeh Game Studio is taking to the Summer Game Fest live stage today to share more about its horror title Slitterhead, but it's already gone and spilt the beans by accidentally uploading the first gameplay trailer ahead of time. Confirmed earlier this week, upcoming action-shooter Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will feature two dedicated multiplayer modes on top of its single-player (or co-op, if you like) campaign. It'll feature both PvE and PvP offerings, which sounds great in terms of value, but the reveal had some players wondering about in-game purchases — or microtransactions. After all, you'd be incredibly hard pressed to find a 'live' game that doesn't have some form of immediate monetisation these days.

PSVR2 fans rejoice: Behemoth looks great. This new first-person action game comes from the makers of The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, and the quality is on display in this new trailer, which focuses mainly on combat.
