Bang-On Balls: Chronicles for PS5, Xbox Series launches March 5

The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of exploration adventure game Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure will launch on March 21, developer Snowcastle Games announced.

The Xbox Series version of massively multiplayer online RPG Final Fantasy XIV will launch on March 21, Square Enix announced.

Publisher PlayWay and developer Frozen District have released the Spring update for House Flipper 2, as well as announced that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions have been delayed by three weeks from their previously planned March 21 release date to April 10. This delay will allow the development team extra time to optimize the gameplay for console certification, as well as include both the Spring and April Fools’ Day updates.

Cooperative survival first-person shooter Sker Ritual will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on April 18, developer Wales Interactive announced. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will follow at a later date.

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps have announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 24. Those who already own the PS4 or Xbox One versions will be able to upgrade to the current-gen versions of the game, while also hanging on to all of their save data.

Even though it has been more than three years since PlayStation and Xbox moved into the next generation of console gaming, the current-gen updates keep coming. Dragon Ball FighterZ, which celebrated its sixth birthday in January, was confirmed to be getting a current-gen update this week. A free current-gen upgrade at that - a rarity at this stage as other studios have been charging $10 - and the cherry on the cake was the additional announcement that the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of FighterZ will be getting a physical release too.

It's becoming increasingly unlikely that will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. While and were extremely well received, there hasn't been any official word on another entry in the franchise from its developer, Rockstar Games.
