Bandai Namco US is running a competition that will see one player receiving a 10-foot statue as a prize.
The Return to Grace Video Contest, which is only for US residents, tasks entrants with creating their own trailer celebrating Elden Ring.
Trailers have to be no longer than 5 minutes, and have to be uploaded to YouTube, X or Vimeo. Once uploaded, players can enter the competition by submitting a link to their video.
The creator of the best trailer will win a life-sized statue of Messmer the Impaler, which Bandai Namco estimates is around 10 feet tall.
Runner-up prizes will also be given to trailers that, while not the best overall, were still the best in a particular category.
Trailers with the best narrative, best action and best direction will win a life-sized replica of the prosthetic Arm of Malenia.
Trailers with the best comedy, best use of sound, best armour design and the most original use of the Elden Ring IP will win a replica of Messemer the Impaler’s helmet.
The competition is designed to promote the game ahead of the release of its expansion DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, which will be released in June.
Last week From Software boss Hidetaka Miyazaki stated thatShadow of the Erdtree will be the game’s only expansion, but left the door open for a potential sequel.
Miyazaki said the company would rather release one major expansion than split additional content into several parts, which would reduce the freedom of exploration and sense of adventure the game offers.

Wrestling is a huge part of Mercedes Varnado’s career, having gained notoriety as Sasha Banks for the WWE before crossing over as Mercedes Moné for the AEW. But her fans may not realize she is also a huge Sailor Moon fan. The professional wrestler, who recently jumped to acting for The Mandalorian, has a deep appreciation of the classic magical girl fantasy anime based on Naoko Takeuchi’s 1992 manga. Fans of both wrestling and anime know she donned a Sailor Moon-inspired outfit during the 2022 Royal Rumble. So it’s no surprise that she’s openly campaigned to play Sailor Jupiter in a live-action adaptation of Sailor Moon, if that ever happens.

FromSoftware has touted Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree as its largest ever expansion, and though that obviously means it’s going to be packed full of plenty of new content – like over 10 new bosses and a new map larger than the base game’s Limgrave area – what should we expect where its endings are concerned? According to director Hidetaka Miyazaki, though there will be multiple endings, you shouldn’t expect quite as many as the base game had.
