It’ll soon be a year since the announcement of the Silent Hill 2 remake, and the fact that there have been no further updates on the survival horror title since then has definitely made it seem like it’s been much longer than that, especially with developer Bloober Team having mentioned a few times now that the game is quite far along in the development process.

Silent Hill fans have waited for what felt like an eternity to get their hands on another game. Konami, for a long time, had put this IP into dormancy. The last big push to see a video game released came from Hideo Kojima, where he assembled a team to work on a new project for the franchise. That project, dubbed Silent Hills, was eventually scrapped when Kojima split from Konami. Fortunately, it wasn’t too long ago that Konami revealed that they were reviving this IP in a major way. Several video games are in the works, including a remake for one of the biggest installments of the IP, Silent Hill 2.

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Groove Box Japan have announced SPYxANYA: Operation Memories for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (Steam). It is based on the popular anime and manga series SPYxFAMILY. It will launch in 2024 worldwide.

Onion Games has officially announced its new RPG as Stray Children for Switch. It will launch this winter in Japan. A worldwide release date has yet to be announced.

The Xbox Digital Broadcast is set to air on Tokyo Game Show’s official YouTube channel and select Xbox social channels in Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, French, German, and Castilian Spanish starting September 21st at 6 PM JST / 9 AM UTC / 2 AM PDT. The broadcast will also be available with Japanese Sign Language (JSL), Australian Sign Language (AusLan), and audio descriptions in both Japanese and English.
