Baldur's Gate 3's ending is abrupt. You win the day, cut to your party at the docks, say your brief goodbyes, and it ends. Fans want more, to have a final talk with their allies and a more meaningful farewell.
In particular, they want a party, a chance to spend one last night at camp so they can truly soak in the aftermath and find out what everyone's going to do now the threat has ended. This party taking place at night also means that Astarion has a chance to join in, as once he's free of the tadpole, he can't stay in the sun anymore.

"I was so disappointed that there was nothing after the final fight, not even a party to mingle with everyone," rock1m1 posted to the game's subreddit, garnering 2,000 upvotes at the time of writing. "We shared so much time with each other, it felt so sad to simply let them go without a party and having a chance to talk to them about their plans moving forward. Also as a bard... for the love of Baldur's Gate, let me go on stage and sing".
Some have suggested it be implemented in the same way as Mass Effect 3's Citadel DLC, while others would be more content with a less expansive ending. For instance, Ulura suggested a Fallout: New Vegas-style slide show.
If you haven't played the game, there are a lot of choices you can make in the main story, but there are also a lot of side quests that have huge ramifications on the wider world, and the game tells you the aftermath of these stories in a series of slides. You find out how the people you helped (or hurt) got on once you left, and how what you did changed New Vegas. In Baldur's Gate, that might be the aftermath of slaughtering the druids, lifting the Shadowlands curse, etc.
A party, given the numerous possible endings, branching paths, and extensive voice work required, is asking a lot post-launch, so a series of text-driven or even narrated slide show panels would certainly be more feasible. Did Astarion and Tav go off and get into a bunch of sadistic adventures, freed from the moral shackles of their party? Maybe. A slide show could tell us.
That still leaves the bard with little to do, though, as right now, you can't put on much of a show for your party. But hey, at least you can play the flute.

If you've played the game, you know the one.
If you've been playing World of Warcraft for long enough, you've probably heard stories about datamined and cut content over the years - much of which has been repurposed eventually. Take the Dragon Isles, for instance, which were a zone originally cut from the game way back in the original game's alpha, but which are now the elaborate setting for the most recent Dragonflight expansion. And now, Blizzard may have just teased the canonization of one of its most notorious, creepy pieces of cut content: the Karazhan Crypts.
The latest Baldur's Gate 3 patch has changed Karlach and Halsin's kiss animations for the better - but left Astarion fans demanding more.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 (which I'll be calling 'Bloodlines 2' from here on) has had a troubled history. Its initial developer, Hardsuit Labs, fired both the game's lead writer Brian Mitsoda and creative director Ka’ai Cluney in 2020. A senior narrative designer, Cara Ellison, left later that year. Then Hardsuit Labs got booted from the project entirely in 2021.
Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe, aka Eric Barone, said that he would be interested in creating a Stardew Valley movie if Studio Ghibli or David Lynch involved.
Baldur’s Gate 3’s most dramatic feud is between party members Shadowheart and Lae’zel, but their in-game beef also infested the two character’s fandoms in playful ways... until now, since the actors behind both characters have called for a peaceful truce.
The long-awaited sequel to Remedy Entertainment’s action-horror cult classic Alan Wake has finally escaped the Dark Place of development hell, and it is glorious.
