Baldur's Gate 3 is introducing a new generation to the pain of terrible dice rolls

Baldur’s Gate 3 players believe they have worked out Withers’ true identity based on clues inside and outside the game. Withers’ real identity doesn’t have major consequences on the player’s story and is more of a deep dive into Dungeons & Dragons lore, as it relates to the history of the evil gods that have had a major role throughout the Baldur’s Gate series.

Throughout Baldur's Gate 3, you will spend time with a strange skeleton at camp. He's called Withers, and not much is known about him other than the fact he can respec your class and summon the dead to fight for you. But given his scene at the end of the game and the tomb you find him in, there's clearly more to Withers than meets the eye.

Neil Newbon, who portrays Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3, was unaware this model would be used in the controversial «bear scene». 

As I'm sure many of you can relate, my Baldur's Gate 3 inventory has become an absolute nightmare after 50 hours. OpenCritic collates reviews (such as our own Baldur’s Gate 3 review) to form an overall score. BG3 is now top of the all-time chart, as it simultaneously becomes the highest-rated PC game ever on Metacritic, and Baldur’s Gate 3 players smash the RPG game’s Steam player record.
