We all know by now that Baldur's Gate 3 is absolutely chock-full of hidden dialogue, funny scenes, and obscure items, most of which you'll never discover on your own, even on your tenth playthrough. In an effort to ensure everyone experiences as much as possible, Baldur's Gate 3 fans have banded together to share the things that they believe the vast majority of players will miss if they're playing the game normally. It should go without saying, but expect some heavy spoilers going forward.
The first person to kick off this discussion is Reddit user Unlucky_Lifeguard, who put the question to the Baldur's Gate 3 subreddit earlier this week. For their pick, they explain that most people are probably unaware of how to obtain the Club of Hill Giant Strength. At the top of the Arcane Tower, you should find a stool with the same name, and breaking it gives you one of its legs, which is the weapon in question. Obviously, most people won't go around examining every bit of unassuming furniture, so it's definitely a weapon most people won't find without knowing it's there.
Unlucky_Lifeguard's question prompted thousands of Baldur's Gate 3 fans to share their hidden knowledge, including user lofi-moonchild. They explain that you can actually get some wholesome dialogue from Lae'zel if you go down her romance path and give her the Githyanki egg you can find in Act 1. If you beat the game while this egg is in Lae'zel's inventory, you'll be able to ask her how the child is doing, since you're essentially raising it together.
You can actually do this without romancing Lae'zel too, so if you want to turn her into the best mother in Baldur's Gate, you can find a guide on the entire process here.
Another much more depressing interaction is shared by user Overlord1317, who explains that you can find a Tiefling girl spying on a Githyanki patrol who turns down your request for her to join your camp. Most people will run into her quite naturally, but what quite a lot of people didn't know is that you can actually find her dead body in a prison cell in the Githyanki Crechea a little further in the game. You can apparently even use Speak with Dead on her if you want an even bigger dose of depression.
There are far too many examples shared in the thread to go into here, most of which involve hidden dialogue, out of the way items, and unique interactions between party members. It's enough to make you wonder how Larian has actually managed to cram so much into one game that is easily missable, yet has made such an in-depth RPG experience for everyone anyway. It's very impressive, and ever so slightly intimidating.

Today is the day, bargain hunters. It's time to pounce on some "whole shebang" collections that have all entries included. Alternatively, I've also found a bunch of isolated single-shot games that can be ruthlessly picked off for next to nothing. Get amongst it. Show those deals no mercy.

The Pokemon franchise has never really been known for coming anywhere close to pushing the envelope with its technical accomplishments, but recent years in particular have seen a number of the series’ mainline instalments being let down by the poor technical state they have launched in, from Pokmon Sword and Shield to Pokemon Legends: Arceus to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The latter in particular launched in such poor condition that Nintendo was forced to issue a public apology.

We’ve almost done it, everyone. January — the hardest month — is almost done. But before it is, we’ve got a lot of TV to watch.
Some fans think that Starfield should take some inspiration from the Fallout series by introducing floating robots and drones to the game. With the game being set in the year 2330, these fans think that Starfield's futuristic theme would have no issue introducing artificial constructs such as these. Considering that the game is very tech-based, it could add more depth to robot-related gameplay and change up a few mechanics to make Starfield's hypothetical drones even more interesting.

is a bit of a misnomer. It certainly ups the visuals from the original 2020 release of, but it also provides a fair amount of new content. The most significant is No Return, a roguelike game mode, but it also includes three Lost Levels, galleries of concept art, new skins for characters and weapons, a developer commentary track for the main game, and a few more odds and ends. Developer commentary piques interest, and its implementation in the campaign is middling, but the Lost Levels, which also include it, are a revelation.
2015’s Until Dawn was an early stand-out PlayStation 4 exclusive. Developed by Supermassive Games, it effectively asked players to put their money where their mouth is when it comes to a horror movie. Everyone has yelled at characters not to run upstairs when pursued or split up to search for somebody, but Until Dawn let you make those calls.
