Speaking to The Gamer on the red carpet of the BAFTA Games Awards, actors Samantha Béart, Tracy Wiles, and Neil Newbon all confirmed that they'd be willing to reprise their roles from Baldur's Gate 3. Karlach actor Béart said, «The writing was so strong on this. So, let's see what you've got. Let's see what you've got, Wizards,» referring to Wizards of the Coast, which is now back in the driving seat of the Baldur's Gate franchise. Tracy Wiles, who plays Baldur's Gate 3's Jaheira, revealed that she «can't imagine» returning without Ruairí Moore, who wrote the character in the game, although she remains «open» to coming back.
They were joined by Astarion actor, Neil Newbon, who won several awards for his role in Baldur's Gate 3. Newbon was enthusiastic about the possibility, claiming that «If anyone ever made me an offer to do so I'd jump on it,» confirming that he's «not done» with the character.
