ATLUS will host the “ATLUS Exclusive: Metaphor: ReFantazio – April 23, 2024″ broadcast on April 22 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 JST, the company announced (2). You will be able to watch it on YouTube in English and Japanese.
The broadcast, which will run for approximately 30 minutes, will feature the latest information and never-before-seen gameplay for ATLUS’ new fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio with director Katsura Hashino. The English live stream will feature English subtitles and dubbed audio.
Then, on April 23 at 4:00 a.m. PT / 7:00 a.m. ET / 20:00 JST, ATLUS will host the “ATLUS Exclusive Debut Commemoration Special – Metaphor: Stalkers Club Final” broadcast, which will feature hosts Mafia Kajita and Tomomi Isomura, along with guest Sayawaka (manga story writer), as they do an in-depth analysis on the newly announced information. You will be able to watch it on YouTube in Japanese.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store this fall.

Hot off its showcase for Metaphor: ReFantazio, where it revealed cities, exploration, dungeons and whatnot, Atlus has announced Atlus Fes for June 8th and 9th in Bellesalle Akihabara, Tokyo, from 10 AM to 6 PM JST. It will feature playable demos forReFantazio and evenShin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance.
Atlus first teased that it was working on a new RPG with a fantasy setting in mid-2023 — it also said way back then that it will be available sometime this year. Now, the developer has revealed that the game, Metaphor: ReFantazio, will come out on October 11 at a special livestream event. Katsura Hashino, the director of the game, as well as of Persona 3, 4 and 5, also introduced a 30-minute hands-on gameplay that gives you quite a lengthy look at its story and combat mechanics. Similar to the Persona games, Metaphor: ReFantazio has a turn-based combat system with what Atlus says is a «blend of real-time action.»
