As Starfield gets ugly comparisons to Cyberpunk 2077, CDPR lead says "this fake criticism is actively harmful"

Elon Musk was never in Cyberpunk 2077 according to one CD Projekt Red developer, despite the Tesla and X boss demanding a cameo.

Cyberpunk 2077's latest huge overhaul has led to another player spike, and it's enough to compete with new releases. Cyberpunk is now just behind Starfield on the Steam charts and was even briefly ahead of it earlier today.

This Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod with raytracing is so gorgeous even one of the developers that worked on the RPG is impressed.

A Starfield player has found a savvy way of earning XP that lets you gain 100 levels in just five hours.

In an interview with Famitsu, Starfield lead and Bethesda frontman Todd Howard stated that the game's mod support «will be available next year» (obtained via machine translation), which likely refers to Starfield's equivalent to the Creation Kit modding tools for Skyrim and Fallout 4.

Baldur's Gate 3 is the definition of a universally acclaimed game. Even if there is the odd outlier, the vast majority of reviews both from critics and players are highly positive. CD Projekt Red's senior quest designer Patrick K. Mills has said that it's «actively harmful» to compare Starfield and Cyberpunk 2077.

Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, the tabletop ruleset which forms the bones of Baldur's Gate 3, is mostly straightforward. Gone are the days of adding double-digit bonuses to every roll—you roll one die, you add an attribute to it, you sometimes add proficiency bonus, and in rare cases you add that proficiency bonus twice.

Baldur's Gate 3 has a whole bunch of classes you can choose that will dramatically affect how you play your game. You can be anything from a meathead Barbarian who throws their enemies around for fun, to a patient Cleric who ensures their allies are always fully healed with a range of support skills. One class that seems to have a love/hate relationship with Baldur's Gate 3 fans, and the wider Dungeons & Dragons community in general, is the Bard.

In a recent interview on the Dungeons & Dragons official channel, founder and CEO of Larian Studios Swen Vincke dove into the nuts and bolts of how the team's been turning around patch fixes so quickly, especially as a response to community critique.
