Ark: Survival Ascended Reintroduces Popular Game Mode

is getting a new map, but it might seem familiar to survivors who've played in the past. Because of the connection between these games, it's safe to assume that the remastered version of this map added to won't be too different from the original version that was featured in. However, it's possible that adjustments could be made to the new variation of this map, which has been seen with other features in already.

But the creatures aren't just more visually fearsome; they are also much more challenging to take out with higher overall stats and more punishing attacks.

has no shortage of creatures to tame, and it's easy to be drawn to the exciting options like iconic dinosaurs and winged beasts. The best options aren't always the showiest, however, and digging deep into the choices that can be made reveals one animal with exceptionally effective usage. The Gigantopithecus might not be everyone's first choice to tame in, but its extraordinary utility makes ignoring the opportunity a potentially terrible mistake.

is a remake of, but it hasn't been afraid to make changes where they've been needed. A lot of the changes that have been made are for the sake of balance, helping to prevent items from being as overpowered as they were in, and therefore forcing survivors to come up with new strategies when fighting beasts or other tribes. However, even changes that seem small end up having big effects regarding how the game is played and what strategies work the best.
