Apex Legends Player iiTzTimmy Goes From Rookie to Predator in a Single Stream

Following the release of Season 20 of Apex Legends, iiTzTimmy, a pro player and content creator, went from Rookie to Predator rank in a single stream. While reaching the highest rank in the battle royale during an Apex Legends season is not easy, climbing the ladder in a single stream is extremely difficult.

It is worth noting that iiTzTimmy is no stranger to the Apex Legends community. As one of the most popular content creators in the game, fans have witnessed the streamer pull off some incredible highlights over the years. When not competing professionally with his teammates, he is known for taking on some daunting challenges. Notably, iiTzTimmy previously went from Bronze to Predator in Apex Legends in a single stream in 2021. Over two years later, the player decided to give it another shot in Season 20 of the game.

In a stream started on February 21, iiTzTimmy attempted to match his previous achievement of going from Apex Legends Bronze to Predator in a single session. However, this time, he would have to go through another entire rank, as Respawn Entertainment had added the Rookie rank to Apex Legends in the time since the streamer’s past Predator challenge. Nevertheless, iiTzTimmy once again achieved the highest rank in the game in a single stream that lasted approximately 34 hours, with no breaks for sleep. This impressive run beat his previous successful attempt by roughly 24 hours, with the 2021 stream lasting 54 hours.

Fortunately, this achievement likely took less of a toll on the streamer's body, as the previous one required him to play for over two straight days with no sleep. Since completing the impressive challenge in Apex Legends, many fans have congratulated iiTzTimmy. According to the Twitch numbers, the stream peaked at over 40,000 viewers, with many more checking in throughout the journey from Rookie to Predator.

This latest Ranked achievement by iiTzTimmy comes as Respawn Entertainment made significant changes to the competitive mode in Apex Legends in Season 20. Among the changes this season, the developer adjusted matchmaking to be based as closely as possible on actual RP values instead of a previous tier-based system. In addition, the RP distribution was adjusted, giving more emphasis to kills, while provisional matches and trials were removed. Beyond the matchmaking and RP system changes, the developers instituted Legend upgrades and reworked the EVO Shield system in Apex Legends, which both potentially impact the way squads go about playing Ranked.

With Apex Legends still in the early stages of Season 20, time will tell what the future looks like for the Ranked system of the battle royale mode. In addition, it will be interesting to see if any other Apex Legends streamers try
