Another gameplay trailer for upcoming fighter Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has arrived, showcasing a further glut of characters. The theme of this video is 'Master and Apprentice', so we've got the likes of Piccolo and Kid Gohan putting in an appearance, as well as Master Roshi and his Turtle School pupils Krillin and Yamcha.
But the biggest reveal here is the inclusion of Future Gohan, who struggles against the android menace in a much darker timeline. The one-armed warrior is trying his best to help Trunks reach his potential. Oh, and Beerus is also confirmed, along with Whis.
Super
It's been suggested that Sparking! Zero features around 164 playable characters, so you can expect at least a few more trailers just like this one. Who are you most looking forward to seeing? Unleash your energy in the comments section below.
Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, he's played 'em all — a little too much, some might say.
Call me old-fashioned but I'm more of a budokai 2D type of guy.
@Czar_Khastik
Same.
Even still, when are they gonna stop releasing the same game over and over again?
Enough is enough.
Give us a flushed out, quality, action adventure (maybe RPG) style DBZ game where you play as one character. Something with the quality of an Arkham game. Kakarot was single A mediocrity at best.
Either that or give the rights to someone else. Tired of Bandai Namco
Please just give me a release date! This game is far and away my most anticipated
The game looks really good, can't wait for a release date.
Looks absolutely beautiful, so far I have 0 complaints I hope it releases soon! also is nice seeing one arm Gohan instead of him acting like he had one arm in the previous DBZ games
@Czar_Khastik But you already got your 2D Dragon Ball fighting game (a excellent one too!) in FightersZ! What you wanted another one? Let us 3D fans get our Tenkaichi game now, maybe they follow this game with another 2D game for you.
History of Trunks version of Gohan?! Let's go!!! Day One!
The english voices are super boring but the game looks incredible
@Tecinthebrain I think we haven't met. I'm a man who is never pleased.
But jokes aside, as long as there is a good dbz game out I'm happy although I have the fondest memories playing original budokai games, not tenkaichi ones. Just saiyin
@AFCC Nah the English voices are cool. I agree about the game itself though. Looks phenomenal!
@JokerBoy422
Future Gohan was in the last game BT3. It's cool they finally have his arm missing now.

There’s plenty of good TV — even plenty of great TV on right now (see, for example, the myriad series newly on Polygon’s own list of the best TV of 2024 so far). And lo, there’s even some new great TV coming to screens this week, as there always is.
Bandai Namco has revealed its roadmap for Tekken 8 throughout the rest of 2024, including the game’s second DLC character, new story, and plenty more.
When are we finally going to get a release date for the Silent Hill 2 remake? The game is widely expected to launch sometime in 2024, but PR from Konami has been spotty at best. We got a somewhat-questionable trailer back in February (that even developer Bloober Team criticized as not representative of the final game) and as we head deeper into the year, there’s still a lot to be nailed down. The game’s been rated by the ESRB and there are rumors it may pop up at a PlayStation Showcase next month, but Konami themselves have remained silent.
@Th3solution My dad was the same with getting a ps5 last year, he waited too long and then the price went back up. He is now reluctant to get one in price drops again. I see it has in some outlets in the UK, but I have given up in letting him know.

As a story about stories, it’s no wonder that Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman would have some characters that other creators would want to pick up and play with. Sandman spinoff comics have starred Dream’s sister Death, the strange denizens of the Dreaming, and even Lucifer himself, leading to the the cult success of an entire LuciferTV series years before a Netflix series adapting The Sandman itself.
