Relatively early on during your exploration of the Edward Mansion, you’ll find yourself in the house’s butler Wells’ former room. There’s a nice big safe in this room, and as you might expect, you have to open it, but doing so is rather complicated multi-step process. Don’t worry though, we have you covered. Scroll on down to find out how to pop that safe open…

Note: While our Another Code: Recollection guides stay away from specific story details, they may still contain some SPOILERS. Proceed accordingly.
Step 1 – The first key to this puzzle, is this display shelf featuring various silver plates and cups. You’ll note three of these plates are missing.
Step 2 – The first one is in a drawer in the Butler’s Room you’re in.
Step 3 – The next is in the Art Studio. Check out the small round table in the middle of the room. The silver plate is underneath the chocolate bar.
Step 4 – The final plate is the Drawing Room with the piano. It’s been rudely used as an ashtray.
Step 5 – Take the plates back to the Butler’s Room and put them on the display shelf. Ah, but you have to arrange them in the right order. There are two plates with small birds, and two plates with big birds. You want them both to be facing one another with the small birds on the inside and the big birds on the outside as pictured above.
Step 6 – Arranging the plates properly will open up a hidden safe behind the painting above the fireplace in the Butler’s Room. In here, you’ll find a map of Edward Mansion, which also has some telltale letters and numbers written on the Butler’s Room.
Step 7 – These are instructions for opening the safe. Right 11, Left 1, Right 7, Left 18.
And there you have it, the safe is open! It was worth it, as it contains not one, but two keys – the gold Flower Key and the Three-Leaf Clover key.
