Another Code: Recollection is the new Switch remake of the Nintendo-published DS and Wii cult-classic story-driven adventure games Another Code: Two Memories (known as Trace Memory in North America) and Another Code: R – A Journey into Lost Memories. Beyond the expected visual updates, Another Code: Recollection also completely remixes the games’ puzzles, meaning even those familiar with the originals will find themselves on new ground.
Another Code: Collection tells a fairly linear story, but there are some optional collectibles to find. Most notably, there are a number of hidden messages from your father that fill in some of the backstory of the game. These are represented as small origami cranes that are scattered around. Once you find one, just pop into your DAS and aim your camera at the bird – this will automatically scan it and now you can read the message. We’ve already told you how to find the 14 messages in Another Code: Two Memories and now here’s how to get the 9 messages in Another Code: R…
Note: While our Another Code: Recollection guides stay away from detailed plot points, they may still contain some SPOILERS. Proceed accordingly.
Origami Bird Message #1 – Guesthouse
This one's just sitting on the coffee table in the guesthouse.
Origami Bird Message #2 – Dad’s House
Hard one to miss, as it's right beside your dad's computer that you have to use to progress the game, although I suppose you might miss it amongst the other origami birds.
Origami Bird Message #3 – Bob’s Food Hut
On the counter at the restaurant.
Origami Bird Message #4 – Elizabeth’s House
When you go to visit Elizabeth's house, check out her dad Rex's office on the ground floor. The message is on the small table above.
Origami Bird Message #5 – J.C. Valley Room 204
This one's behind this plant in Rex's office.
Origami Bird Message #6 – J.C. Valley Room 202
On top of these packing boxes in your dad's office.
Origami Bird Message #7 – J.C. Valley Room 201
One of the desks in this room is, apparently, owned by somebody with a fishing obsession. It's mixed with all the other stuff on the desk.
Origami Bird Message #8 – J.C. Valley Room 104
Next to this bowl of... candy? Marbles? In the break room.
Origami Bird Message #9 – J.C. Valley Room 103
And here's the last one in room 103!
And there you go -- every Another Code: R origami message, collected! You can now truly call the game complete!

Windows 11 and Windows 10 work on the Steam Deck with official Vale drivers, too. It's not as simple as hitting a download button, though. In this guide, we're going to show you how to install Windows on the Steam Deck, both to the internal solid-state drive (SSD) and from a microSD card.
A new year means another entry in the industry’s flagship wrestling franchise, and today 2K and Visual Concepts have pulled the curtain back on WWE 2K24. This year, the face on the cover will be Cody Rhodes, or at least he will be if you buy the standard edition. The Deluxe Edition will be fronted by the pair of Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley, and the 40 Years of WrestleMania premium edition will feature an array of WWE legends on the cover. You can check out the first teaser trailer for WWE 2K24, below.
We’re in the middle of a Nintendo DS renaissance on Nintendo Switch, which is fitting as that classic handheld turns 20 in 2014. Coming off the excellentGhost Trick: Phantom Detective re-release from last year, more DS classics are coming to Nintendo Switch this month. First, Another Code Recollection contains a full-on remake of the cult classic Another Code: Two Memories, and it’s out now. In a few days, on January 25, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney will remastered as part of a trilogy collection that also bears its namesake.
As I worked on my review for Another Code: Recollection, one concern I kept coming across for the then-upcoming title was whether or not anyone from the original developer, Cing, was involved in the project.
