American McGee says AI offers the only hope of a new Alice game

American McGee has spent the past several years trying to make Alice: Asylum, a third entry in his series of action-horror games inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. That fight produced a crowdfunded 414-page design bible but came to an end earlier this year when rights-holders EA rejected the pitch, and McGee declared that he had "no other ideas or energy left to apply toward getting a new Alice game made."

American McGee Says Alice Fans Could Use AI To Make A Sequel

American McGee has released a new video, sharing what he says will be his final words on the ill-fated Alice video game series. This comes after EA rejected his proposal to revive the series, leaving it on ice since the 2011 sequel, Alice: Madness Returns.

American McGee says the Alice series is dead, finished, kaput, and people need to stop 'continually asking me questions to which I do not have answers'

American McGee's Alice is a series that saw two games released roughly a decade apart: the eponymous original came out in 2000 on PC, and Alice: Madness Returns followed in 2011. The games were published by Electronic Arts and, over the last few years, McGee has been trying to drum up interest from both EA and fans in a third entry to be called Alice: Asylum (another mooted entry, Alice: Otherlands, was the subject of a Kickstarter but was never released).

An Official Pokemon Ad Just Referenced American Psycho

It's hard to think of a brand with more power than Pokemon. From games, TV shows, films, trading cards, and more, the series dominates so many different markets. This is largely thanks to its squeaky clean, kid-friendly image, appealing to a range of age groups. And, apparently, fans of the 2000 film American Psycho.

No one saw Pokémon’s American Psycho parody coming

Bet you didn’t have “The Pokémon Company doing an American Psycho parody on its social media” on your bingo card for this Friday. But this is the reality we live in, where a Marshtomp plush stands in for delusional sociopath Patrick Bateman in a contest of (non-business) cards at the Pokémon offices, where Pokémon do their mergers and acquisitions.

PS5 Slimmer Variant Will Reportedly Launch November 10 in the US, Spider-Man 2 Bundle Leaked

The release date for the slimmer and lighter mid-gen refresh of the PS5 has seemingly leaked online, alongside details about its first bundle. As per reliable tipster Billbil-kun — notorious for accurately leaking monthly PS Plus games ahead of time — the new PlayStation consoles with smaller form factor will go on sale November 10 in the US before spreading out to other regions; both disc and digital versions. A bit before that, on November 8, Sony would be bundling it with the newly launched Marvel's Spider-Man 2 at $559.99, which is the same amount as the existing standard edition bundle. While not explicitly mentioned, the content should be the same, with a digital voucher for the game, alongside a themed controller.
