The Sunken Ruins is a quest in the recently released A Rift In Time expansion of . This exploration-based quest urges players to explore Eternity Isle to find Flicker across various locations. Although this journey is meant to help you discover different realms throughout the game, it can go by much faster with some guidance.
The Sunken Ruins in is a three-part quest tied to the much larger Spark of Imagination storyline. This questline takes you across the sites of Eternity Isle and through the realms between. The quest begins by speaking with Merlin. It seems that four months wasn’t enough to finish his research into the Spark of Imagination, as he still requires more time. In the meanwhile, players are tasked with tracking down Flickers of imagination across the map.
Mike and Sully are waiting for players on the Laugh Floor in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but unlocking the door will require a monster disguise.
There are 11 total Flickers to find in, but thankfully none are hidden particularly well. These Flickers are used to power the hourglass that you already received earlier in the quest chain. Although several Flickers are found in the Eternity Isle zone, there also are multiple waiting to be found in more familiar character realms.
Flicker Location
Description
Amount
Moana Realm
Fast travel to the Moana Realm and go up the grassy path directly in front of you. This Flicker is found near a small batch of tropical flowers.
Ratatouille Realm
After fast traveling to the Ratatouille Realm, take an immediate right. You can find the Flicker in the kitchen, next to a boiling pot.
WALL-E Realm
In the WALL-E realm, the Flicker is found in the small garden you arrive immediately after spawning in. Be sure to use your hourglass and extract the Flicker before leaving.
Dreamlight Valley
The Flickers in Dreamlight Valley are found in the central town Plaza, where characters usually enter Dreamlight Valley. Flickers in this location are scattered among the crowd.
Eternity Isle
The cluster of Flickers on Eternity Isle can be found near The Docks, conveniently located by your house and east of the Ancient Ruins. The Flickers in this area are typically found near the grill and garden in the backyard.
Make sure that you have your hourglass equipped before you start your search for Flickers. This will help illuminate the way and find the objectives much easier.
The three realms you need to visit: Moana, WALL-E, and Ratatouille, only have one Flicker in each realm, but the collectibles near both the Docks and Dreamlight Valley Plaza both contain clusters of four. To speed up this task, I recommend clearing out the Docks first, then teleporting to the Plaza, which is located by the fast travel point
