On January 8, 2024, Albion Online will be receiving its Crystal Raiders update, bringing some fancy new weapons to the players.
Crystal Weapons will be making their first ever appearance to Albion Online , and have been created from Artifacts that are rewarded at the conclusion of every Guild Season. There are three new Crystal weapons coming with the update; the Astral Staff, Rift Glaive, and the Infinity Blade.
The Infinity Blade is a sword that slashes enemies with a double charged strike, while the Astral Staff will cause stars to fall from the sky that damage foes in its path. The Rift Glaive is a spear, and can be used to strike several enemies at a time as it pierces through multiple targets.
Each new Guild Season will bring three new Crystal weapons for players to test and try for themselves, and higher level chests will grant players higher tier artifacts to use to curate these new weapons.
On top of the new sword, glaive and staff, the update brings territory raiding, a rework to the conquoreres challenge, and territory and hideout changes. There will also be a Daily Might Bonus that is available once per day which allows guild members to claim a certain amount of Might depending on their Guilds total amount of Energy.

Your favourite beaver-based colony sim Timberborn's latest big update has arrived, and honestly, I'd say your poor beavers won't appreciate it one bit. The main reason being, it adds a new ecological hazard called Badwater, that doesn't only make your water bad, but your crops and beavers at risk of being bad. Still, there are plenty of new buildings to help you harness the power of the stanky water and errr, exercise halls for beavers to get their sweat on. I wouldn't recommend they rehydrate with the bad water, though.

Weapons are how we interact with the world in video games – and we’re not going to talk about those regular boring weapons everyone can find. These are the secret weapons – the unlockables we missed and the overpowered tools of destruction we’d do anything to earn. Some of these weapons are ridiculously difficult to unlock but they’re all worth tracking down in 2024.
